Well, as far as I know, you can e-mail EA support here. Or, like I said, you can contact a Bioware staff member- I personally suggest sending a Private Message to this guy. He's been pretty helpful.
My account was banned, said in a support that is banned in Banning ME3 Online Access CREDIT HACKER.YA NOTHING used check my account, there are no credits, unban me please I am an honest player. My email --kadjitik@gmail.com wrote a letter to me3accounadmin@bioware.com letter back, understand and check what was happening on the account does not cheat and do no credit too, please check and unban
AHAH nice joke dude I can clearly see from your manifest that you are legit xD
I'm pretty sure I'm running into cheating this morning but who knows. Earlier, it was one hit kills. I don't have names since my screen shot didn't work properly. Just now, I had to sit through a mission where I couldn't regain ammo at all. Glitch possibly but there was one player who could.
tldr; I'm going to be writing down names from now on and hoping these people's machines die a million deaths.
Is there a spot in the manifest you can check what the N7 level is? I know its not the best indicator, but can get at least a small idea of where people are, and that matter how much stuff they should have.
And I know this is by no means cheating, but I hate when my team is full of idiots. Like trying to disable the device while cloaked with no enemies around just to have the ENTIRE team swarm directly around me not just pulling all enemies in my direction, but of course making sure I'll still get hit by their attacks >.<
The N7 level isn't a good indication of someones skill and ability. The only time I promote my characters is when I want to re-spec them as I could care less about my N7 level. I have close to 200 hours invested in the muti-player and my N7 level is in the 300 range.
Well this evening I was playing a game, there was the only two of us, i was an infiltrator the other a vanguard, I don't know if he/she was cheating but I ask you take down 7 geth in one nova, no way, all way through up to level 8 I hardly shot anyone, in the end I was so peed I just sat there and waited for the shuttle. I don't cheat and wouldn't expect anyone else to, at the end of the day it spoils the fun, yes we die, yes we all bomb out, but thats the game, so any cheaters out there, your an ass, sorry but you pee me off and spoil my game.
Heck, my N7 is only around 137. Only promoted twice. Gold is about all i play, unless i just want to screw around with one of my other builds. Tons of games played too. And i actually use my mic.
if you cheat your only cheating yourself from the full experance of the game. i feel sorry for cheaters cuz they are missing so much of great gamplay by doing so
What I'm sick and tired of seeing is db's who go off and hide in a corner then doing nothing the whole match so that they can get free credits/XP from everyone else's work.

Worse is when they never move from the starting location. I seem to come across such things more, though I'm also getting better at actually noticing and leaving by the start of wave 3 if someone isn't doing diddly.
OK I need to ask a question, im not brilliant at the game but try my best im level 120 (Coffey1967) and have been for days, today i was playing and there was a person playing who was 2058, I used the striker assault the same, however he/she got more kills than me, which was weird as we were firing at the same target's? is that cheating and how the hell did he/she reach that level, I play day in and day out and haven't moved? Oh yes I agree about the hiding, one host i was playing hide whilst the others did the work, would not help down team mates, what annoyed me was 2 were down I went down right smack next to him ran out of medigels did he/she help nope? I hate it when peeps go off half cocked and don't give a **** about there team, enough ranting lol.

Most the time I come across it, the leeching playe ris the host. Not really sure why.
As for your question, thats hard to say but it could easily not be cheating. Was his gun higher than yours in level? Did he have any equipment attached that would make it stronger? Finally, well he may just have kept getting lucky and getting the final damage dealt to the enemy if both of you kept going for the same target. If you wonder if someone has a hacked gun, there are a couple things to look out for. One being does it behave differently than it should with the equipment it has (ie: faster, never/barely reloads, shoots through things it shouldn't, etc). Other main thing is you should have sat back for a moment just to see how quickly they dealt with enemies alone. Probably easiest way to observe is seeing how quickly it deals with the big guns like Geth Prime, Banshees, or an Atlas.
In answer to you question, we both had the same striker, and the mods the same I checked him/she at the end of the game and yes it sounded faster than mine and I did sit back on one bit to see and he/she took down a banshee with a couple of shots.
I see a lot of people asking "is x considered cheating" or "will I get banned for x" - A good rule of thumb is if you question the legitimacy (and intention) of something then it is probably against the rules. We have different ways of dealing with different types of offences (including severity of said offence).
If you have any questions feel free to PM me/post them here and I'll get to them as soon as possible.

Thomas Abram
If you are unsure, then it's probably against the rules? WOW. Just WOW.
Well put. Does Bioware's moderator's even think before they speak anymore? Wow.
BW is not that experienced in MP. Lots of stuff can be done to the game. some of them (like rebinding the keys) are useful, some of them are not. It just shows how little they know. It'll change with time...
Starting to see a common Xbox hack where people are hacking the damage of the Geth Plasma Rifle, then killing Brutes and the like in less than 10 rounds of gunfire.
This week I was invited by 3 guys to CREDIT GLITCH with them after entering their lobby when I quick searched.
They all had mics except me, and sounded like stupid druggies! lol. I decided to play along and screw them up!
Told them I knew what to do, lets begin. When the match started I quit when they began the exploit lol.
I was still in the party chat that the host invited me to, so when I left I heard this
"What!?? SOMEBODY LEFT!! DUUUUUUDE!!"
F-ing credit hackers. Learn to play legit and EARN your dough, hobo! I fight for my money, and I FIGHT FOR THE LOST!

How about when players like Sargazz sit the entire game and gather points while the remaining people try to play? But then we wipe and he is still sitting there. Is that cheating? Or is that just freeloading, bad taste, and unacceptable behavior that means he should be shot by the other players if it were [and should be] allowed?
Where do game parameters come from? Local file? Cant bioware make a simple check of the local file before each game (1 file how long would it take)? In case the file was tampered, no credits, no xp and a big cheater sign at the end of the match?
Cause the more i read, the more i think ppl can simply change values in some files and do wonders.
Yes i know that check might obstruct you even more. But hey, got to start somewhere?
Well maybe a check only when you enter multiplayer and you get a warning beforhand you have an edited file somewhere?
Seem to remember some games had that....
But in the end, the honest players would have problems, while cheaters would still find a way to bypass this check. Why? Cause it has been like that from 1980's and it doesnt seem things are changing.

No need to. Information, like the Credits that you have on your account and the weapons / mods / characters you own so far, are stored Server-Side.. Not on any individual Console or PC. Logs of how many credits you've earned, when you've earned them, and how, are easily accessible to see who is cheating, and who isn't.
BioWare is aware of the cheating that is occurring in multiplayer. We believe our multiplayer mode is a valuable addition for our fans, and we hope you are having just as much fun as we are while playing co-op with your friends.
For our fans, we acknowledge that some people are cheating. We are actively monitoring server logs since the Demo of Mass Effect 3 and when we find obvious signs of cheating, we are acting against those individuals. Our focus is to remove the type of cheating that is detrimental to the honest fans.
To some of you, it may appear that we are not doing anything against the cheaters. This is not true. However, we are being careful to ensure that the individuals flagged as cheaters are clearly and repeatedly cheating. We do not want to act against honest people.
If you feel your experience has been affected by playing with a cheater, please send us a message at me3mpcheaters@bioware.com. Please also add the Origin ID/Gamertag/PSN ID of the supposed cheater along with the time of your match(es) with him and why you think this user has been cheating.
If you feel you have been reprimanded incorrectly or wish to appeal any action against your account please send us a message at me3accountadmin@bioware.com.
We appreciate you help and patience with this matter.
Scylla, can you provide some clarity as to what we should look for?
I have read through most of the recent posts and have some idea of what people are doing (hacking money to massively upgrade characters/weapons, etc). I agree that this is B.S. because it ruins it for players who are grinding through the normal way.
However, I'm not sure how to distinguish them from real players. Tips for some indicators to look our for would be helpful.

I was wondering that, I hosted a game and a player aimless? sat behind a wall the entire game whilst the 3 of us got shot at etc, however I got sick and tired of saving his/her butt so in the end I thought sod it, sit there and look at the water. Im not sure if it was a glitch and the player was naturally stuck or just couldn't be arsed to play.
