To move, try to promote characters, only way to get past 120   level 2058 is not that much, if I had promoted everytime I could, I would be around 5000 minimum (I am around 1000 - my first promotion came in Raptor operation I think where was tho goal to promote 2 characters, until that day I didnt even notice the Promote button and was stuck on 120 for weeks - and have played from release date).

Are you sure with that guy? Did he have the same character with same specs as you, same weapon level, same mods (level) applied, same equipment...maybe better aiming for headshots, finishing targets?

About that hiding and doing nothing - definitely an all-player approved in-game kick vote option is needed (even with the risk that some jerks will kick you with all equipment used with no reason)!

I get annoyed by the "we won't tell you if he was cheating or what's been done to him" thing. If the investigation shows guy/gal/other (delete as applicable) was in fact cheating would a simple "yes he was cheating and action has been taken" message really hurt?

I don't need to know how he accomplished it or how many hacks/cheats he was using or even the punishment handed out. Just a "Yes he was and he paid for it" message.

At least then I know that cheaters are being actively dealt with and I'm not just wasting my time reporting them.

Good thread...I'd really like to see official Platinum level...and another great Idea is to gain most of the credits after extraction...now you have 70K on gold after objective in wave 10 - that's really wrong, extraction should have at least about 20K for itself as motivation to all players to complete - decreased if it isnt full extraction, and I don't get how it could be made this way (among many other things as leaderboards, bugs and glitches...urgent need of one big patch).

Hosted a game last night, Firebase Dagger / Reapers / Silver about 7-8pm BST. This guy just stood at the bottom of the ramp, behind the control room / ammo box & Evac landing platform. He did F*** all for the whole 10 waves and wasn't revived once till the Extraction Wave.

He then couldn't walk up the ramp to the Evac zone, so the rest of us only got a Part Evac. He got a bad review from me in my Xbox social. Haven't got his gametag name to hand as at work.

What do these People get from doing this credits (what do they use them for bye better guns - don't need a BFG to stand there) XP (again what for, I use XP to make my characters last longer in game / more powers - Don't need them to just be part of the scenary!) Higher N7 rating? (what so he won't get kicked out off Gold maches so can milk the Elite!) They will hunt him down!

3 weeks ago I have stopped working the multiplayer game mass effect 3. in technical support told me that my account was banned because of hack the credits. They advised me to write on me3accountadmin@bioware.com. at the time this email did not work. i reported about this in technical support. they told me that they contact with competent department and this people review my case. 10 days ago i can send email on me3accountadmin@bioware.com. but still has not received a response. 2 days ago i again send letters on me3accountadmin@bioware.com and contact@bioware.com but still nothing. does anyone know how to answer and how long going the case?

I've sort of gone of MP due to some cheaters.

Heck it was just a normal night doing my Gold matches, guy comes in with his friend and asks for a certain map, so I choose that map, next thing I know, he's teaching his friend how to cheat and get under the walkway in the map so they can't die, revive easily and of all the hacks/enabling devices etc.

What's the point in playing a game if you don't play it right?

FBW/G/G - For those who like dull matches, want a real match FBW/G/G players? Try Gold Firebase Glacier with Reapers, or any other map but boring FBW/G/G.

No, he/she was acually level 43. He/she played a Salarien Engineer, I think, and just played one match. It must have been something like a month after the game was released...

To all who want PVP how can u survive after a fully leveled over load and energy drain with a head shot ? matches would be horribly short i tell all my Gears buddies who always say mass effect is nt better than Gears because of the lack of PvP but i disagree I love the Co-Op Competition what we could have is a new faction "ECLIPSE" that would be great. And as far as the credit cheaters go im not worried about em i get my guns and upgrades the cheaters cannot affect my guns so who cares if they cheat as long as it dosent break my game.

Most the time it seems those in Gold matches are pretty quick to die off if they notice someone trying to leach experience so while a higher N7 rating would give them better chances to not be booted in the lobby, most the time it wouldn't do much.

Otherwise, I've wondered the same thing.

i've play a match few minutes ago, with my turian sentinel, and overload power completely unlocked.
well... ingame power is unlimited! no recharge time, every time i press overload button i use the power..
i don't use trainer or something else, i think is only a bug. i've made a video with fraps if someone wanna see it.

But one thing that REALLY grinds my gears is LEECHES.

A leech is a player that sits there, doing nothing (because he's playing D3 on his computer or something else unmentionable on this forum) while all other players are busting their family jewels, trying to complete 11 waves on whatever the difficulty... By the time you realize the trickery, you are probably done with wave 3 or 6 and you are committed to the game because of all the buffs you put on your character for the mission. So they reap the rewards for everybody else s time and effort.

This probably has been mentioned before, but I had to put it out there again!

We need mid game kick outs or effort entitlements. Either a set amount of minimum points you need to gatherer on the course of the whole 11 waves to earn exp and creds OR the ability to unanimously kick a player out mid game with all the ill gotten exp and creds they managed to get out of the others (UNFORTUNATELY) in order to prevent mid game kick out abuse from trolls towards honest gamers.

And that, was my rant of the day! Thanks for reading!

I completely agree.  It's frustrating, and makes it diffuclt for the other people on your team.  I was in a match with a leech, but luckily our group was able to get extraction.  Afterwards, in the lobby, I put the boot to the leech in order to at least kick him out of a lobby (because I'm stubborn), but the two other people quickly left.  So it was me, and the leech in the lobby, with the X under their name.  Two others quickly join, and all 3 give the ready signal.  I'm delaying because I like to be stubborn and want to get this guy kicked out but since the two new guys seem me as the delay they kick me out.   I'm sure they quickly realized what I was doing after their match started.

Here is something fun, i actually went through the trouble of contacting the EA support about 2 issues, out of curiosity. Idlers and The com pack cheaters. Long story short, Their official stand is. They cant do anything about it. So basically it is safe to assume that if you cheat by idle farming or getting more com packs than the others. No action is taken towards you -.- hell i see some people with more N7 weapon levels than you could have ( max being 4 now) see people with 5 or more. Such as the BSN user Steelgrave who has 5 n7 weapon levels, instead of the maximum 4.

So wow... way to treat your legit customer base EA and BW. just wow... really...

Exagerrating. 5000 Minimum?? The #1 person on the leaderboard is over 6000 approaching 7000 fast..   I myself am "only" over 1000, as I enjoy promoting ASAP to feel like a freah start and using weaker characters again.

I don't know how they do it... Do the top 10 ppl not have a life, or do they play Gold non stop all day?...

Or is there somehow cheating involved??

Idle players does not count as "Cheating"..  It can be done in any online game. any genre.  A better word would be exploiting it, if it results in a player gaining some XP or money.   Take a Call of duty match for example.  You can jump into a match, then sit and do nothing in Headquarters mode for ex. When the games over you will still gain some XP, tho not as much as those who played.  In Shift 2, theres an achivement for racing online for 10 hours.  You can just enter a race, but not really drive, and when its over, your timer still moved forward.

On the other hand, doing the credit glitch IS cheating, as you're doing something outside the rules, and intended bounds of the game that the developers made.  And doing something that isn't normally accessible without deliberate action.

I mentioned 2 problems and you stick with one, wow. need some reading glasses? I said Idlers and com pack cheaters. Idle farming on purpose, is still an abuse, i never called it cheating. Really, who is your optician? you need a new one? i can recommend one, he goes by the name 9mm parabellum.
