Its a bug/glitch that's been in the MP since the demo & was still there on day one of games launch. Its not a hack or cheating when the bug/glitch was not even fixed after there was conformation that it was there on the demos MP. This is the ME3 devloment teams problem & insted of fixing there bugged up MP. they rather just not do anything to fix the bug/glitch and let players use it as they like. So there's the facts this is the ME3 devloment teams issue & they need to fix it.
So if a house leaves its front door open at night, and the owner knows it, it is o.k. for people to come in and steal what they want? Hey, the owner knows his front door is open, right?
Lets not hold these people that come in and steal accountable because the owner knew the door was open. It does not matter that it is legally amd morally wrong, right?
Your logic an disgraceful and pathetic. You are one of those that believe all is fair as long as it does not affect you. And then we wonder why the world is so messed up.
That's a terrible allegory. Firstly, there's no 'stuff', it's just digital information and it's only useful to two people 1) The user, and 2) Leaderboards. Also in this situation if some one takes something, they're not depriving it from someone else. By spamming levels and packs you're not stopping someone else from getting them.
Also at what point does a glitch become a cheat? We've all played games where you've found an exploit to beat the game. Like one particular corner where a boss can't get to you, or abusing the AI by shooting arrows at something outside it's noticeable range. Personally I draw the line at fiddling with the code, but I have a more general ethic to be 'sportsman' like.
So while I wouldn't call this cheating I think it's unsportsman like, and a bit stupid. Particularly with videogames. They're meant to be fun in and of themselves aren't they? You really are cheating yourself because half the fun is chasing the carrot, and if you have to ruin the gameplay to get the carrot, and then the carrot comes to easily, then you've ruined the fun.
If it was competitive co-op I wouldn't even play with strangers, that would ruin it for me. As it's co-op, I ignore it. And it's also makes any leaderboards worthless.
So my two cents, it's not cheating but what a sad thing to do instead of playing the game.
That's the point that I was making. the fault is on Bioware for the bug being in the game in 1st place & the stupid players taking advantage of it.
