No, it is you who doesn't understand jack.  Most, if not everyone knows N7 ratings means jack.  I only promote when I want to test out new builds and other guns.  My gold game count to silver+bronze probably is in the ratio of 10-20 to 1.  Knowing how hard it is to get an ultra rare weapon upgrade, it's hard to believe people out there are lucky enough to get 10 Saber and 10 BW upgrades back to back.  There are 8 ultra rares * 10 levels = 80 levels.  Add on olny 10% chance to get an upgrade in the PSP.  The odds are extremely against you to be that lucky.  I have cashed in 10s of millions of credits on PSP and not a single ultra rare close to level 10 other than the wraith.  Could someone be that lucky?  It's possible, but highly unlikely..

Look, I'm not that p*ssed at the situation.  The goal of multiplayer seems to be to level up guns.  If someone cheats to get all the X guns, then they're left with no more goals to accomplish, thus removing the fun out of the game for them.  If I'm playing with someone who cheated to get an X ultra rares and that helps me survive gold, I have no problem with that.  I'm not really angry with these people.  I'm angry that it's been a month and a half since my last BW upgrade and I just got the Saber two weeks ago.

Then why would you mention the N7 rating in your post then as if it mattered to the unlocks:whistle:
Hell a friend who i see propably 1-2 times a year has an N7 rating of 60 something and he has javelin and BW at IX. so i would not say its uncommon to see people getting those upgrades.

Heh I was just in a multiplayer match where there was a guy who had a fully automatic avenger which sounded like a minigun so I guess his firing rate was just a tad boosted. He was killing geth left and right and my puny Mattock had no chance against him.

I don't know about the naming and shaming policies here but I'll just leave his name untold.

and might I add, since your "facts" is right, then the guy with the Rare X at N7 20 must've gotten the best persevearance in class preference. Cause in reality no matter how good you are in one class that you'll hold on to that class no matter what, there will be "temptation" to try other classes for the sake of extended replayability.

i don't think the problem is players cheating its cerberus cheating. the amount of times i have had a phantom tractor beam-instant kill me or a prime / atlas shoot through a full on concrete wall (not a barricade or thin piece of metal) also grenades that have a mind of their own thrown by cerberus.

i think cheaters here are the in game enemies

other small things i have witnessed

atlas on the roof of the hydra buildings
enemies with infinite health that can only be killed by making them fall out of the map

being killed while in a charge

the cheaters here are clearly the god damn enemies

Well besides the cheating and obvious flaming against each other, I kinda agree with one of the posters on the first page.
AN in-game text chat would really pitch up the possible communication between squad members because of the class represantatives (hope thats right^^) or the available equipment or something, also an in-game buddy system would benefit and you wouldnt need to open the overlay which is not even fully customizable at size, shape and postion of the windows displayed in it.

The Mute option is IN MY OPINION (imagine the underscore please) not such a big deal the only thing i had so far was someone who didn't have a headset on but the voice chat on "always on" and i think a simple "could you kindly..." would suffice. Also the "always on" feature should be tackled with a voice activation feature so not every single scratch and cough is recorded for everyone to hear.
And Last but not least, for the people WITHOUT a Microphone an in-session Order-reel would maybe a benefit too because if a match has two infiltrators in it isnt it better to let those two handle the 4 devices because of their cloak and as such being not an immediate target than the soldier/sentinel/vanguard who could really do some damage?

Phew...i hope anyone who reads this is thinking about it first before flaming, if thought about it and flame 's okay^^.

I wasnt tempted for 4 days to try anything but human soldier, and by day 3 at n7 rank 20. i had Mattock VIII which is rare btw One of my friends has N7 40. he has made characters in only 2 classes. Infiltrator and adept. and hes got more ultra rares than i have, even though he has played like a 1½ weeks less. so there are alot of people who are dedicated towards only 1 or 2 classes.

I think we all need to realize that it is still a game and people that actually hack the game are the real cheaters.just standing there leaching is a cheap dirty tactic that unfortunately can't be punished. If u do it u suck more than the hackers and should die painfully at the hands of a banshee.

There are established procedures for reporting both forum and multiplayer rules violations. Insulting users or accusing them of cheating is not among them, nor is tossing around allegations of trolling. I have warned or banned some of the users above because of this.

Why is being 120 and having rare/ultra-rare at X bad or indication of cheating in any way? I didn't even bother promoting for over a month of playing MP. I thought it better to just stay at 20 and learn the different classes. Was able to instantly max out each new race that I unlocked as well.
If not for the event that calls for promoting I probably wouldn't promote anymore. If I want to respec I get the cards, no need to promote.

Um completed a game today Firebase white geth gold. All factions started to show up and I joined into the 3rd round so I don't know who was the leader but a person called redstryker(? not sure if correct) was killing everything with an avenger brutes, banshees primes whatever. Just though I would let you know. I have been awarded credits but haven't used them so if you want to take them back that's cool just don't wanna spend them and then get banned or account reset.

Just reported someone in PC multiplayer with a Level X N7 Valkyrie. That's right; the damn thing's not even in MP mode, and level X, no less. Maybe it was a dev testing the weapon's capabilities or maybe, somehow, it got snuck into the ultra-rares, but I seriously doubt it.

God, these lechers ****** me off so bad. I can handle them when I'm using my GI or my BS, but any other occasion, they're just a liability and I wish they all died from ass cancer.

join a gold game today i saw like 2 other low level characters in lobby so i thought, meh might as well play as a level 1 cause i thought they were trolling, so game started and now i saw why they were playing with low level characters cause of infinite health, recorded a 2 min video for bioware and left during wave 3, aint playing with cheaters.

I just participated in a very strange gold match, there were tons of husk cannibals or marauders, but all of them were very weak, my black widow had 100 shots, but I had to reload after every single shot (my ammo went -7 or -15 or whatever each time), and i got 300 k for the win. Was that a bug or the host created it intentionally? I didn't spend credits yet, bioware feel free to take them back.

when i joined a hacked match, i leave the match early on, recording a bit of the match if bioware wants proof.

valkyrie is in MP mode so get your facts right, but lv X is too much though, should be at lv 4 at max, LV 5 after this event.
