why doesn't bioware do anything about cheating?? i swear 1 in 5 public match i have to leave because the host has some kind of hack on. this is why i now mostly play with friends only now.

I'm on the Xbox so I dont see too many cheaters..However I have seen a few Leechers...I've led Banshees to them and then shot at the corpse for good measure....(it makes me feel better about the situation)

i honestly have never seen any cheats or hacks on the xbox except for the credit glitch,i thinks most of the hacking and cheating is on pc really cause no i know on ps3 or 360 complains about it

Yeah, is fairly easy when their own tech-support actually motivate you to use cheats.. 
I was trying to repport the vanguard glitch, and the indian-chat-"support"-guy didnt understand ANYTHING.. 
When I told him that I glitched out and could see through the map, walls, ground etc, this came out: 


Edit: And for any misunderstanding, I asked to have a full copy of the chat-support on mail..

I've been joing a White/silver/reaper match midgame where the place was crawling with Husks and ONLY Husks. tons, thousands, the lower level looked like the Tokyo Subway. i left after one or two minutes.

i have no idea how such a game can even be public?

on another match i joined midgame i all of a suden got unlimited ammo. no matter how much I fired away, my counter allways jumped to 999 again at each reload.
not my doing either.... i stayed till the end.

since the new patch I join much more games midgame than before. was maybe 1 or 2 of 10 but now it is like 1 of 2.

I don’t honestly have the time to read through nearly 50 pages in here or to trudge through the dozen or so topics I found while doing a search with no apparent BioWare input in them, so maybe someone can just give me a heads up answer on this credit glitch thing.

Is doing the credit glitch legal?

I’ve been in two groups now (X-Box) that wanted to do it and would like to know if exploiting a in game glitch like thing is legal. If it isn’t then I can at least get out of the group and/or warn them that its not a legal thing to do.

I don't think thats true at all. I'd say about 50% of randoms suck. I used 5 randoms last night o fill up various games and 2 of them sucked, the other 3 were ok. Most of the people on my friends list for ME3 were randoms at one point

It's against the rules. Bioware staff have already taken a stance, and said they will revoke the credits / items of people who abuse the credit glitch- and in cases of extreme credit gain, they will ban players.

good for bioware. I hate spending all my time busting ass in gold and sorting thorugh character cards to hopefully maybe get an N7 weapon and then someone comes along and in 1 day gets all N7s in level X due to a glitch. F That BS.

I still don't even have a talon (only N7 non promotional missing) and i've brough over 100s of packs that i earned!

Yeah maybe I was a bit OTT.  I had just come from a number of matches that had been epic fails.  My bad.

Is there an actual anti-cheat or is it just based on reports? I'm not really a reporter (I don't care that much) but I've now blundered onto the same host's goofy modified room three times in two days (PC, all guns insta-kill in 1 hit). I leave as soon as I realize what's going on but it makes me wonder if there isn't an actual detection system integrated into the game itself.

well in a way i am glad i play on xbox. i really don't want to work my butt off to be compared to people who are after the status and don't put the work in. i spent most of my time working from bronze to silver and now gold to be ready. just shows you what's wrong with some people in the MP arena. not out for fun, just status

Can't say that I have had much experience of cheaters, then again I'm on the 360. I do question the leaderboards when the top 5 players have an N7 rating of 5000+

I was in a game with someone yesterday on Xbox who had a purple and grey cobra launcher on his back, and his krysae (I believe) was also matching the same color. I'm not sure if it was actually hacks or just one of the many bugs present within multiplayer as he didn't seem to be doing anything that was out of the ordinary. Just purple guns...lol

Not that i condone cheating but after several wave 11 disconnections I sometimes wish I could "correct" lost credits. I'm roughly 200k behind already, which isn't much, I know; still it's really ****ty when you log in to blow some steam, waste consumables, virtually stand on your head to progress through waves and then host gets disconnected and migrates and suddenly you lose connection to the game. ****ty matchmaking caused by shoddy programming and overloaded servers and on top of that random unlocks. I know that greed is powerful drive and micro-transactions are new cutting edge of milking the players but at least give us product that works properly

Bioware has Strayed away from the core Masseffect Beliefs with this greedy attempt at getting rich on Multiplayer DLC anyways........Cheats is just more proof of how ill Prepared they are!...

Shouldnt have touched the stove.... its hot isnt it!

Except for the fact that they havent charged us dime yet for the 2 DLCs.....

I was playing XBOX 360 version and jumped into a game where one player, ever time they died,fell through the floor and respawned on another part of the map. It was Firebase White and ever time they died, they respawned at the evacuation point. I have reported them to MP cheating email address.
