I find that everyone who has a N7 level above 100 is a cheater in the multiplayer game.
I hate it. It pisses me off and it isn't fun any more when the hacker gets all the kill to himself.

Bring out an update, a patch which will prevent this from happening. The cheaters are everywhere. You can't even have a decent game any more.

However, at the end of the match the cheater still got all the credits and rewards for playing the match even though he didn't do anything.

Focus on banning glitchers and leechers since they actually ruin gameplay for the rest of us.

That's a know problem, not a hack. People falling through areas of the map and can't get back to play/shoot/help/etc.  I mean if someone was going to hack in a gold match to be impervious on purpose why wouldn't they just God Mode themselves?  And was this person the leader? Because they might not have wanted to exit because it would have reset the round for all of you.

It's ridiculous that people are cheating at all, but in a co-op multiplayer game against AI enemies? Madness! I'm glad BioWare is taking steps against this.

Actually from what I understand, Hacker gets 1,000,000 credits and so does everyone playing with him.  That is the problem really. Because Oh wow I got a million credits cool and then you spend them... and then you get banned... and you are like WTF why was I banned? 

So far, I've not run ito any hackers, but I am kinda paranoid about the above happening.

I have above 100 N7 level, and I've never cheated. I just play a lot, and promote my characters often. How do you even cheat on this game without a PC? Now I can't really see how ppl have a N7 level of over 300 in just over a week......that's absurd.

It's possible (I did it, level 340 now), but then again, I was on vacation, and played pretty much every waking hour so I've got an insane number of hours clocked.  Now that i'm back at school, i'm only gaining about 30 levels per day, but on vacation i was getting around 50 levels per day easily. It's fairly easy once you have good weapons and a team on silver going. If you can get together a group of salarian infiltrators with an energy drain focus + falcon, geth on silver are so easy it's a bit of a joke.

Bioware/EA's wallets get hurt, duh. If credits are simple to come by, no one will by origin cash or whatever RMT method the consoles use.

They is there, but for now, all cheaters is geeks\\coders.

Why do you think they will ruin everything? With them you will get even more points (as you get points earned by entire team) and pass the map more faster.
Bioware is the only one who damaged with that. Though they have bugs, that wiping all multiplayer inventory, they removed the crouch in me2 and weapon holstering in me3 (still dunno know is it possible to modify coalesced in way it was in me2)
So they are the one, who ruined everything. Except the story.

They can remove all our items, why can't we get some of their stuff for free?

Almost two weeks are passed since the bioware has been notified about this bug. And they are still doing game balance changes... lol

The person was not the leader of the match (I was) and I know about people accidentally getting stuck. Problem is, this guy did the same exact thing the next match; he ran towards the shuttle, "popped" into it, and didn't move from that spot for the rest of the game. In this case it was exceedingly obvious he knew what he was doing.

This guy is a bit stupid. He could just host an private game and cheat there.

Golds are pretty difficult, maybe he was getting overwhelmed, or he just likes to show off, or meet other cheaters.

So far, I've not run ito any hackers, but I am kinda paranoid about the above happening.

I just ran into a MP match where the entire game seemed borked.  There were 100s of enemies per wave, online 5 waves total, and I ended it by getting 18,000,000 credits.  I'm not entirely sure what to do because i don't want to get banned for something that someone i was playing with must have done, because obviously what just happened wasn't right.

Because for denounce him i need probes, and dont know exactly who was the host at first time, because other player was using the falcon (a weapon with low amount magazines).. and at the first time i think was he the cheater for the infinite ammo.. and with the ammo image, with the multikills in arrow with the phalanx and the final score of the match with his level.. the devs have probes enought to ban him inmedatly...

In this cases need probes, like screenshots or videos to take care that the cheater would be banned for sure.. because in most of the online games u need screenshot at last for denounce someone of cheating or u will be banned instead the cheater

1 Round would be sufficient toget the proof. Why then stay the entire time?


My thing here, is, so this guy cheated,he hosted it, you didn't HAVE to stay, he wasn't hurting you, or anyone else. You have the power to leave at any time. Why is it so many people are worried about what everyone else is doing, and not about what they are doing. Did you spend those credits you got from that match? I hope not, then you would have gotten proof that he was cheating and then turned around and spent the money you got from the cheater.

I really hope you can do something about the cheating.
Played a bunch of gold games today with some friends, and the 4th slot was set to public. So this one guy who joined had some kind of buffed Tempest, but it was relatively subtle. It took us like 2 games until we finally realized that something wasn't right there (he never had to reload, and we picked the Tempest as well. Turns out, you normally can't kill an Atlas with that thing in 3 second To clarify, neither of us ever used any SMG's since they suck, so we thought "hey, this gun is actually pretty strong" at first).
Then after we booted him, later that day we had another cheater, basically the same thing. Unlimited ammo, buffed damage, but this time with the Mattock. In neither games the cheaters were hosting.

The problem is, these are not obvious 10 million credit hacks. I wonder if it's even possible to detect that kind of weapon buff cheat. If not, soon you won't be able to play a normal public game anymore (still remember the WC3 disconnect-hack periods...).

I'm curious... how many people have actually been banned for cheating?
I would feel a whole lot more comfortable about this if they were to actually release a statement and/or warning as to exactly what constitutes cheating and what the penalties are. In addition, they need to have some sort of a formal reporting and appeals system, rather than an email address.

Bioware really needs to address the concerns that people have about innocent people being banned for playing a match with a credit hacker, seeing as it doesn't show those extra credits until the match actually ends. During the match, it shows the number of credits that YOUR config file says you should be getting, not the hosts, but at the end of the match, all xp / credit calculations are done on the host's computer rather than your own.

Ran into my first cheater online. Guy was firing the Widow as fast as a pistol, with no bolt action, getting only headshots, and no running back for ammo. Sent the email, so hopefully there's some justice.
