Hmm I don't see anything wrong... what indication is teher that he is cheating? I can only see an indication that he is using his consumables all the time... something I don't do. Besides medigel and rocket I don't use anything. In Gold I sometiems use ammo and what not but even that I don't bother since you never know who you play with and can waste the consumables after 2 waves.

It could also mean that he is using his consumables and he has bad luck onw aves... after 1 they die. I once received 4 reset consumables in a row so go figure.

Am I cheating too?

Statistically .... no.... you have a bit of everything...

0/0/255isc it is not in a distribution statistical.... unless you ALWAYS ONLY use tier I and tier II.....

0/0/255 is totally explainable - you only get tier III ammo consumables in SP / PSP. So, it seems he only bought those. But then again, if you play gold regularly, you should at least use your consumables once in a while and not stockpile them. Looks as if he bought them all at once, which either means he saved like 3 months, used a ton of real money, or, well cheated and somehow got more credits than normal.

But then the next match, this person is in the room was doing insane. Played two matches. Next match I paired with them just to watch. There was no lagging. They were just that damned good.

The thing is, even if you're specced for pure weapon damage, equip warp ammo III, extended barrel V, targeting VI III and the new pistol gear that gives you +15% dmg, you'd have a headshot damage of ~1155 with a Phalanx X.

Thats one headshot for a basic trooper, two headshots and a bodyshot for a Centurion, one headshot for a Guardian, two for a Nemesis and three for a Phantom, two headshots for an Engineer.

The thing is he got the 5 or 10 (can't remember) headshot medal long after he got it for 50 kills, so I highly doubt he was simply having a 100% headshot ratio. Not to mention that if you are that capable at getting headshots, a Carnifex is a much better choice. (Even at lvl 1.)

And don't forget that there are three other people shooting stuff as well, they had decent loadouts and N7 ranks (I know that doesn't equal skill, but at least experience).

Oh well, I know I was one fo them suckers that got BioWare points as soon as the new stuff came out. First addon I got 3200 BioWare points:))) and this latest addon I got 1600 points. I believe that the people that use BioWare points get better items. I know I did... I unlocked almost every new race and weapon doing that. Not sure it was worth the cash but then again it made things a lot easier for me. Also last night I had 350k saved up and used it all up and got 3 respecs one after each other.

Check out what the Max Payne 3 devs are doing to their cheaters (via RockPaperShotgun) :-D

"[...] quarantined from all other players into a “Cheaters Pool”, where they’ll only be able to compete in multiplayer matches with other confirmed miscreants."

seems like a good idea, but i'm not sure how bioware could apply it without some maneuvering.

The game would take some serious reworking that I don't see happening in order for that to occur.
Plus, it's not pvp, it's coop, so a cheating team would be boring, but effective. Unless they got nothing for it. It would be a kind of fun test bed.

I dont know where to go, but a friend of mine accidentally stumbled upon a bug that grants a player the ability to use weapons as missile launchers. I want to formally report it(if its unknown) without advertising how it works on the forums. Any thoughts where I should go? My goal is to hopefully get it fixed before its widespread

Has something recently changed with the Infiltrator? Just had a guy that was the host of the pug, FBWGG as a Geth Inf. with a Krysae.

While everyone else was dead he was popping TC then firing off 3 Krysae rounds, reloading and popping off another two all while cloaked.

Please tell me I'm missing something. It didn't do him any good as he was still a terrible GI...

@PrebuiltTub

I already reported this bug several days ago after I found out how it was working and to what extent.  I'm surprised it isn't already more widespread because it is very easy to become glitched unintentionally and two of the weapons that are effected by it are extremely popular.

I was unaware of that.... still seems really suspicious....

If he/she got banned I will call Bioware: I think they have a statistical evidence of it, otherwise he/she will be still avaliable to play

Truthfully it was the 162 Respec cards that was the most disturbing. I'm open to correction, but I can't think of a legitimate way that can happen. On top of that every weapon including N7 at 'X' and every character at 'X' including all the new ones. If it sounds 'too good to be true' it may well be. Only BioWare have the 'under the hood' data to know for sure.

Actually, max every non-promotional item in the game is EXTREMELY suspicous.  Max every gun common-utltra-rare, max cards for every available character, max every available gear.   Max everything that just came out last week?

Maybe he dropped a ton of cash, maybe he's played 24/7 for the last couple of weeks.
Like  someone else mentioned, if he was playing that often probably would've picked up at least ONE promotional weapon.  The last two Victory packs have pretty much given away a couple of those guns.

The likeliehood of pulling off that manifest without cheating?  Very near 0.

two months ago wasn't capped at 3. So it seems said person already bought everything that was available then with SP / PSP and still had enough credits (or insane amounts of money) to spare to max out gear / Indra / Harrier and the other rare stuff after the DLC came out...

Err.. everyone it is true Bioware have themselves to blame..as someone mentioned tying mplayer to splayer....but while i certainly DO NOT condone cheating esp in mplayer for that matter..to consider others at hand in game too, maybe, just maybe it a bunch of hardcore protest gamers who fell out of love with mass effect series after the ending and short campaign etc...maybe that there way of rebelling against the establishment? what do you all think? does NOT make it right at all..however..can you really blame the extreme disenchanted mass effect fan from rebelling entirely under the circumstances? Think how far and wide the masses are disillusioned with the outcome for me3 do you think it possible that some of the more extreme hard core fans felt so violated they went down..well...the 'renegade' path here?

I WANT TO CLEAR UP I DO NOT KNOW NOR EVER WOULD LIKE TO KNOW A CHEATER But i long susected the top ranked player in my country as others suspect have observed his no.1 rank in australia is abnormally high...suspicious ey?

I think your logic is terribly flawed. You don't keep playing a game if you think it's that ruined. The ending sucks, we all know that. That has no affect in MP.
Cheater cheat because it makes you get ahead. Which is the whole point of MP, is most times competitiveness. Cheating can be fun if it doesn't negatively affect other players. I know in metroid prime hunters I had a team called GlitchBros and we would use glitches to fight each other. Shadow battles were so much fun. I miss that game.
Also, who cares about your N7 rank? It's entirely pointless.

how can you cheat in a game thats versus AI only.....what does it matter really... who gets hurt the bots?

Your statement can only make sense if we assume that people are only playing so that they might receive credits so they can buy more packs.... for some reason.

Who gets hurt?  Anyone who plays the game for fun or challenge.  If I wanted someone else to play the game for me I wouldn't be playing myself.

Sora Kitano wrote...

I am curious as to what sort of cheating that is going on.

The only form of "cheating" that could be of any harm to the players is having Idlers standing around and gaining XP/Credits they did nothing to earn. Otherwise there is nothing that is overly harmful to ME3's MP going on.

Usually I would rage if knowing if someone was using something such as illegal console mods to get an edge, but since there is no PVP, nor will there ever be any if Bioware hasnt made another attempt to make misleading comments, I see no harm in even those being used.

Disclaimer: I do not in any circumstance advocate the use of mods or any other means of cheating in any video game and those that wish to use them should do so knowing they are at risk of having their console banned if caught.

Your statement is contradictory.  You say cheating doesn't harm the players because this is a co-op game mode... but does it harm the players in games with a competitive focus?  No.  Cheating in both types of gameplay can ruin the experience though.  As I mentioned above, if we wanted unlimited credits or to have the game played for us we probably wouldn't be logging on to play legitimately.

The only cheater I've ran into so far had modified his/her Avenger to do massive damage.  He was mowing down atlas mechs in half a clip on silver difficulty and his reloads were instant.  I was amused at the show this person was putting on and for the most part the rest of us on the team just watched him do his thing because there wasn't much we could do because stuff went down so quickly.  I remember the person was playing a quarian infiltrator, I noted that because before we started the match I was looking at their setup in the lobby trying to decide which weapon I should bring to compliment the team and wondered why an infiltrator would be bringing an avenger into the match.

I wasn't particularly annoyed with this person because it was kind of funny and interesting to watch, but if I had to deal with that every other match I'd probably quit the multiplayer altogether because there's no point of landing in a match where you're basically put on the sidelines.

Oh I saw someone using that crazy avenger mod! I was on gold and he was just walking through the waves! Anyway he got like 150 000 xp or something and I got like 200 000 xp with my trusty Wraith I. Posted Image

Really? Spamus? It's been forever, I don't remember the names, but I think I still have the email addresses. I remember finding some glitches where we thought there would be none and found some gated areas of the map that they were too lazy to remove.

On a related note though, is there ever going to be a point to N7?

Wow, this is nice. Due to a heavy work schedule this summer I don't get on much to play anymore. And when I finally do, the first two games I join in over a week both have speed glitches! Just to make sure it wasn't some recent mod to the game I ended up hosting my own private match to play by myself. Yep, two games definitely had speed glitches. Ugh...

I just witnessed a "supsect behavior" during my two last Gold public games.

A player using a Quarian Male Infiltrator and a Wraith V seemed to deal too much damage than I expected from this gun.
He had the Shotgun amp rail III, the shotgun rail gear V, Extented barrel and AP rounds II
I expect the weapon to deal a lot of damage with that build but killing a barely shielded atlas in 2/3 shots and one shot killing phantoms seems too much.

Does Wraith ignore shield gate?

Before sending an email to the "anticheater division" I want to be sure that build is unable to achieve such damage output.

I was hosting ( so not host cheats Posted Image) on Xbox.
