Was that on FB White? It happens when you die in the back doorway of the "farming room". I saw that happen to another player the other day and was like for a second, because it looked so weird, but then I remembered the glitch.

I tried the rocket glitch once, turns out I'm too dumb to figure out how to translate xbox instructions to pc, so i gave up. it looks like too much work if you have to shoot and use powers every single time.

I've been banned for cheating and I couldn't figure out why.  A few days ago I couldn't access Multiplayer anymore, it would give me a Redeem Online Pass error.  I've been trading emails with unhelpful customer service reps, and only today did one say that the case is actually that I've been banned for cheating.  I was shocked, I've put countless hours into the game legitimately and have never cheated, never even wanted to.  Panicking after I got that last email, I browsed the forums and found that recent Bioware post about banning players for exploiting weapon stats.  That triggered my memory of a game a day or two before I was locked out of Multiplayer where I noticed my Revenant was doing more damage than it should.  After that one match it never happened again, and it faded out of memory.  That has to be what triggered my ban; I really hope they end up rescinding it because I'm addicted to killing reapers.

I think I was in a game with a cheater but didn't pay attention to the name so can't report. But I got put in the game in round 2. At the end, the leaderboard was weird. It had names of people not in the match, didn't show my name on the list, and the bottom was the first time ever I saw the medal things go completely across the bottom. I immediately left that group thinking "not going to get me for this" panic.

But now I couldn't get back into another MP match so in the middle of exiting game entirely and going back to try again. So I better not be banned for something another player is doing. And it wasn't the first MP I did today as I was trying to level up a Batarian for the weekend event thing.

been on ME 3 MP today, and Ive been in at least 5 games with people using the missile glitch. Love the game, and love the multiplayer but this is degrading the playine experience. I dont wanna be banned for being in this game, but today has been particularly difficult to avoid. IT NEED RESOLVING ASAP

Everyone seems to be using the missle glitch now on xbox, cant even get in a game now without someone using it. Fix this asap

There goes what small hope I had of participating in Operation Savage.  I already had a batarian sentinel build in mind.  I might even miss the next one too.

  Not sure how I report someone who's cheating and I don't have a way of capturing in-game video, but here's what happened. 

I joined a game and it was comprised of Rad95Go, 1001Warhorse and wystawkin. 

it was a bronze match vs geth (can't remember the map)

I had a mattock II and a carnifex IV. 

Initially I thought it was a bug, but it happened on the next map and then a 3rd map.

All vs geth. 

The things I witnessed were:health never dropped below 95% with standard weapons fireif melee'd or hit with rockets, health would auto refil if dropped below death.

 I could one-shot any enemy (including geth primes and hunters) with any weapon, power, grenade or even basic (not heavy) melee. 

Rad95Go and 1001Warhorse left and other people joined, the only consistency was wystawkin in each match...and in each match he always was the last to signal 'ready' in the lobby and it always took him a long time to get to a ready state.

That's what happened to me!  I was on a turian sentinel with a revenant.  The revenant was killing everything in one or two bullets.  I had no idea how it happened, and it never happened again.  And now I'm banned!

Pretty much what happened to me. How exactly did they tell cheaters from non-cheaters? based on reports? I'm unable to join multiplayer now and I'm going to miss the operation (after not receiving a commendation pack on the last op), and I don't even know if they'll ever notice the error and unban me.

Though I emailed that address a few days ago and never got a response.  I have been trading emails with the help.ea.com guys and the last one said, "We want to get you an effective resolution so that going to escalate this issue to higher department.."  The constant Engrish throughout the emails is a bit frustrating; I can only hope a competent someone somewhere is looking at my file to get me back in the fight. 

Being falsely accused sucks.  Having played WoW for years, I've read Blizzard developer forum posts about wanting to take action on something, but only if they could be absolutely certain that people who are innocent and playing the game legitimately wouldn't be hampered in the process.  I never fully appreciated that policy until now.  Hope it works out for you as well.

Thanks, I'll be mailing them right away, thou I don't think this will cut it. The best thing would be a mass complaint about false bans. Also, blizz bans policy was the best. In 3 years of wow, I never saw a cheater (except that one pally guy who got a GM shirt for mistake and carried his guild through Ulduar 25 hc). Plenty of spammers thou, but there was an addon for that.

I hope they are working on a patch for this. I feel like a sticky thread should be created announcing that people will be banned for using the bug.

If you are in a match where this happens, I recommend quitting the game immediately so you aren't accidentally banned, and report the cheater(s) involved. Make sure you mention all 4 players so that origin/bioware knows which player(s) were actually cheating and which player(s) were not.

Hopefully then, there's at least a paper trail in case you (or another honest player) get banned for someone else's actions in a match.

But yeah, this bug needs to be fixed asap.

Quick tip for bioware: Stop banning people for the missile glitch. Just fix it. You CANNOT prove who have used the glitch. I bet they sit there looking into log files and seeing kids finish with 250k points and think "HEY! hes clearly cheating!". What a tragic, tragic, tragic way of spotting cheaters. If anything is the missile glitch, it's that ever so over powered sniper rifle that came in the last dlc pack. It makes the ever so ultra rare BW seem... pathetic.

This Player named N R Nuclear Sam on XBOX 360 used nothing but missile launcher kills but was firing the Striker Assault rifle for 8 rounds. End of 8th round I was booted.........

I'm sure the logs Bioware has to look through show what weapon the enemies were killed with.  Obviously when a person has been killing enemies with nothing but missile launchers, something is wrong.  And I stand with Bioware 100% on banning these idiots who take advantage of the glitch.  Ruins the game

So he joined a random match, got with a cheating host, didn't know it till it was over (sometimes its just a person is good with a weapon, has mods and equipment for it)...
And you somehow call him a cheater?
Do you even know how most of the players cheat?

He just states that "his" own Revenant was doing "more dmg" than it should be.  Killing everything in one  hit?  Sounds like the missile glitch to me.   And him being banned triggered a memory of a game he had a day or two before?  Pffff please....More than anything, he was banned for a legitimate reason.  You show me a case where someone was unjustly banned because of a weapon mod.  You can' t because there is no such case

You believe what you want. I'm telling you I have no idea how it happened. During the game my initial thought was that lag was making it seem as if the mobs were going from 100 to nothing. I still have no idea what glitch it is or how it's done. If it had happened in subsequent games I would have Google it for sure. But it didn't and I forgot about it until after I was banned.

That's not how it works. If the host modified his coalesced file, all players including himself will have modified stats. So no missile glitch. Only the host who modded the game should be banned for cheating. Get your facts straight.
