Had to leave the last three games I was in 'cause of this stupid missile glitch. I thought the third game would be alright, but then the guy suddenly whipped out his missile launcher on wave 7 and fired it until everything was dead. It's getting tiresome. At least reporting them makes me feel like I'm getting back at them...somehow.

Also, I encountered a weird glitch last night where my ammo count kept resetting to zero before I'd emptied the clip. Anyone else run into this?

If someone wants missiles, he can go private solo or with friends. If he goes public, he deserves ban - best completely out of origin or what he's using.

Watch out for a new PC cheat for this game. I just recently joined someone's host that gives you a zero power recharge speed. I left the game because I didn't want to get accused for it.

That's a tweak and has nothing to do with this missile glitch.

Had to report two missile spammers today...

There was a third that I suspect was using it based on his comments, but as far as I could tell he only fired 4-5 missiles that match...

Seriously, what's with people these days?

I ran into someone today who did that Missle Launcher glitch. I reported them. I don't understand how people can't learn to play fairly and have to cheat to advance in anything. It takes the enjoyment out of anything....it's really pathetic. I haven't encountered the other, though.

God damn missile glitchers. I decide to try out my new level IV AP ammo and it gets wasted when I have to quit a match I was hosting so I don't get associated with some cheating ******. Reporting now.

Yeah, it would be nice that when you take the time to put on equipment/ammo/power mods that they wouldn't go to waste if you end up leaving or quitting by round 2 or something.

Say a team is missile glitching.  It happens a lot lately.  Can I grief the hell out of them?

I don't quit because I'm getting outscored by a glitcher. I quit so I don't end up banned by association.

I'm not sure if this was a glitch or a cheat.

I was in a match and I noticed one guy start to glitch out (character hovering in mid-air) then all of the sudden everyone keeps dying and getting back up. It was an objective wave so I'm trying to DL the objective and a "purple" shield surrounds my character. Reapers are spawning like crazy, randoms are down but not? I get hit by a Brute while DL and don't die. (but I'm a Kroguard )

However, when I'm DL the next objective the purple shield is back and I notice that although I'm getting shot my shield doesn't go down.

I left the match (after hearing Homer Simpson's scream in my head because I'm worried it's cheating)

If I report some one who was missile glitching, is there any chance I'll be banned? I mean they can tell I wasn't involved right? He ended the game with almost 200k points while me and my friend barely broke 50k.

Also, how are so many people finding out how to do it? The video on Youtube only has 7,000 views, so that can't be the reason if so many are doing it.

I was in 7 games on XBL today with missile glitchers. It's getting ****ing ridiculous.

i don't think we should care at all about this. Bioware should just make a new update for everyone to install to fix the problem. When mw2 got extremely hacked no one complained. Everyone should stop doing bioware's job and start complaining to bioware instead of helping them. If you don't like it stop playing the game it's as simple as that

The one person floating in the air can happen as a glitch by accident, most often if they are a Vanguard.  Everything else though definately sounds like a cheat.

And unrelated to the post I'm quoting, I highly doubt no one at all complained of MW2 getting hacked...

Glad I left then.  I felt a little bad because I don't like quitting a match.  I just don't get it.  It's a game - a co-op game.  You don't win any money.  Why cheat?

I think all legit players ask that. My main guesses is so the higher guns make them feel like big shots, or the in-game cash does, or they just suck so much that they need to cheat to actually play the game.
