It was an objective wave so I'm trying to DL the objective and a "purple" shield surrounds my character. Reapers are spawning like crazy, randoms are down but not? The one person floating in the air can happen as a glitch by accident, most often if they are a Vanguard.  Everything else though definately sounds like a cheat.

And unrelated to the post I'm quoting, I highly doubt no one at all complained of MW2 getting hacked...

Yeah, I don't even play COD and I heard about the MW2 cheating.  I was actually thinking of getting into the COD franchise because I like PvP, but after I heard about the rampant cheating, I decided not to bother buying it.  Negative publicity stemming from an inability to stop cheating/hacking/glitching probably eats into game profits a lot.

Thats not really the point. Cheating is cheating. If someone is going to cheat, despite the benefit, who's to say that said individual won't find and employ other exploits? I am sure this doesn't apply to everyone who is using the Missile Launcher exploit, but all the same, the risk is there. 

Its a matter of principle. If you don't want to play the game legitimately, you don't have to. Some of us do, despite it being co-op. BioWare has listed their views/rules on cheating. Its their property, and I'd very much like to not see this game turn into MW2, where I cant join a lobby hoping to play a legitimate match and end up with people spamming whatever exploit is most popular at the time.

except if you got the upload feedback on despite not cheating yourself, you run a risk of being caught in the same ban wave. enjoy

You can mute. =| I live this game (not a typo). I think pvp would be quite a clumsy affair with all the biotics involved. As long as they keep adding maps, characters, weapons, maybe some other possible mods for existing characters, I will play this game forever. If I could make a suggestion however; I think you should have just one character that allows you to choose what biotic/grenade powers etc you can have

I'm desperately looking for another weapon right now which will fill the stun niche that the Falcon leaves behind, but I can't find a decent stunner (using the Geth shotgun right now), but I want to make sure I'm not just avoiding one glitchy weapon for another.

These are the sorts of questions I'd like to see clarified, because it kind of makes it hard to avoid not doing something if we're not sure what it is we're supposed to be avoiding doing in the first place.

I did not know that the Falcon was glitchy too...  Hmmm.  That would suggest that this can be done with any projectile weapon(Krysae, falcon, striker...).  I am fairly certain that the way that Bioware is able to confirm or deny reports of glitching is based on a player's reletive score (I had a match that went 110,000, 10,000, 8,000,7,000).  Therefore, using one rocket will not put you at risk of a ban because it barely inflates your score at all.  Also I played an entire game with a Falcon on my human soldier without experiencing the glitch on accident.  I would geuss that it is pretty hard to accidentally pull out your weapon and rockets at the same time.  If you do find your self with the glitch active on accident, I believe that dying will make it go away, though there might be more effective remedies than that.

Oh yeah, and I think that you need to be reported first, so unless you are playing with total jerks you have nothing to worry about when using your cobra missiles.

I just had someone use the glitch with Krysae. It coming up in the kill feed "milssle launcher" when he fired the Krysae. Talk about giving a new meaning to a three shot missle launcher.

Does any know how they ban offline(private co-op) cheating? I mean theres got to be more people cheating offline than online.  I know that alot of people are probably turn off the EA  feedback and thinking they are safe but they still connect to the servers for the co-op game.  The people offline are just as guilty as the online ones.

There is no "offline" playing, what makes you think that? There is no "LAN-mode" to begin with, so you're always connected to the Internet and therefore EA Servers, even when hosting a private match. How do you think your friends connect to your lobby?

Played a gold game today on giant and a kid with a super high n7 rank of like 4.5k didnt help my team what so ever. Instead he decided to get sync-killed by phantoms and Atlases at the start of each wave. -_____-

We're still going to report people- and you're still going to complain about it. Because neither of us can ignore it, and you're just as "bad" as us for not being able to ignore something you don't like. C'est la vie, huh~?

you forgot: they can grab you even you are not near to them. happened to me. tried to run away from 2 banshees but one "grabbed" me and pulls me few metres back.


next time i'll report to him, he can ban all those cheaters easily: i.imgur.com/u8BWP.gif

OK. I think I came across my first cheater. Would like your recommendations first before I report. The player was using a Krysae Sniper Rifle X on Gold. Whenever a kill was made it showed Missile Launcher instead. After the Gold match was finished he had well over 300k points.

Think its a cheat?

Came across my first missile glitch exploiter (PS3). Promptly reported to Bioware. After his 5th missile kill halfway through round one, I warned him if he didn't leave I would report him (I was the host in a PUG), he chose to stay.
