^ lol I always play pug, that guy was terrible yet he endangered me by glitching ( you could get banned if you profit by somebody else cheating ). I mean you have to be really bad to get wiped when you are shooting missiles.
You won't get banned as long as you leave AFTER the match is over ( or kick the cheater, which makes more sense, honestly ). You can stay and finish the game, so your consumables aren't wasted- Bioware isn't going to ban you for that. Only if you purposely stay and benefit from the person who is glitching.
That is their official stance.

Funny, I'm pretty sure I stated that I do play the game. And that I enjoy it. Also, I'm doing exactly what you said: sharing MY opinion. I apologize for offending your apparently tender and fragile sensibilities.
It's always funny when the point just flies right over somebody's head.
We can play the game and talk about it and that it doesn't make any difference so stop saying stuff like "lol just plai da gaem", because that is seriously so asinine.
Wow, guess I really touched a nerve, huh? In that case, apologies. Rage on, friend. It's always amusing to watch monkeys jump around and throw poo.

Is the missle glitch only occuring on Console or is it occuring on PC as well? Is there anything I need to look for that is a tell tale sign that the person is cheating on PC?
From all the threads that I've been reading, not a single PC player has seen the Missile Glitch- apparently, it's only on the consoles. But just in case I'm wrong, you can usually tell a person is using the Missile Glitch by looking at the bottom-right corner of the screen.. If all their kills are with the Missile Launcher ( the maximum capacity for missiles per match is 5 ), then you know they're cheating.

Sorry if this has been answered already.ryoldschool wrote...
Sorry if this has been answered already, but can a missile glitcher turn it off once its on? I say that because I might have run into one last night. I was playing with pug on gold and we were getting clobbered and I noticed that this one guy killed a nemesis with a rocket, so i thought it was funny. Later he got several kill streaks. We wiped on wave 8 but he ended up at 80,000 so maybe he was glitching. I was never next to him - he died a lot and bled out. I did think it was strange to be using rockets on wave 2 on a minor target.
I've been lucky enough not to come across a missile glitcher myself, but I think it can be, in a sense, turned on and off. He may have just ended up with a few streaks in a row though if he was carrying the alloted 5 missiles and shot most of them off one after another into groups of enemies. Possible, especially if they only ended with 80k or so which is perfectly and easily doable in anything over bronze. You could still submit a report if you fear they were cheating, for they will look into it of course before actually relinquishing any punishment. Otherwise next time if you think someone is cheating but arem't sure, try to watch them better.

There just wasn't anything to do. I would run up to a group and they would all just fall over. Took me a bit to figure out what was going on and, from my perspective, looked for all the world like they were firing through walls. I can't confirm on whether or not they were firing through walls or if the AoE was 'clipping' through thin walls, but it was really, really hard to tell if they weren't.
EDIT: Wanted to note that I was not aware of what was going on until around wave seven. I had stopped playing the game since before this thread was even made and had never encountered anything similiar to this at all prior to now. I finished the game just to confirm my suspicions and to check their weapons and equipment as I knew new things had been added and wanted to make absolutely sure that what I saw was not legit. I can't stress enough how little fun that match was.

Mostly i encounter him at 12pm to 5pm GMT+1. But he's been ruining most gold games he gets into.

Ah, that would explain why I've never seen it. Reading the forums you quickly get the idea that it's very widespread. Lucky to be on the PC then, and I feel for the honest console players. It's a shame that there are so many cheaters out there.

So can people get banned for using the missile glitch?
Yes.
Anyone who purposely uses it will probably be banned.
And yes, they can tell the difference between using it on purpose and accidentally using it.

Dang. I just discovered the glitch two days ago didn't realize the glitch was that big a deal already. Had no idea people get banned for using it! Good thing I've only done it with a couple of buddies in a private match. Guess I won't be doing it anymore then. Hope I didn't get banned....I didn't realize you get banned for using it

I'm going to be honest with you: Being in a private match doesn't help. Other players reporting you isn't the only way that Bioware can find cheaters; Thomas Abram has said that for every ~1 player-reported cheater that they investigate, there are 8 which are flagged by their system. On top of that, you just admitted to cheating on the public forum, which they check regularly, so..
If you really want to be honest and lessen your punishment, you should e-mail me3mpcheaters@bioware.com and tell them what you did, and that you didn't realize it was a ban-worthy offense. They look on people who turn themselves in with a better light.

Also for people calling for players to be banned on using the glitches (missile and invincible health), it's a glitch eventually it will get patched so you will not have to deal with it again (just like the wave 10 gold glitch). Plus it is not the players fault for making the glitch it's the coding in the game. The way I see you shouldn't burn someone for the mistakes you made. If I get banned for using a glitch I like and did not make, that's unfair. If they want people to stop using the glitch then they should fix it, and yes I know that's easier said then done but it is true. The only way to get everyone to stop glitching is to fix glitches, not ban people left and right.

Edit: I had an exceptionally bad experience so I want to make sure a particular player is gone forever.
