I don't play WoW, but i can imagine it would be pretty borring if everyone had the same gear which is considered best.

What is the point of unlockables if anything is allowed? Every MP game has some kind of reward system for dedicated players.

But then you could still compete with you skills and kill more sophisticated monsters.

Why is it fans should be punished for game design flaws? Sure it may let then win gold and lots of credits but no one is being hurt there. Especially private parties. The multiplayer needed major fixes since the demo. Game freezes, footstep noises never going away, not to mention balancing issues. I think the focus should be more on fixing issues and not reprimanding players..

Is there any kind of cheating besides the people who have 3500+ N7 rank?
Apparently, you can do anything you want. Unlock weapons, characters, mods, increase damge, hp, shields, ammo, set godmode, get credits, xp...

Guess I must be "lucky" or something, havent met with either of those 3000+ N7 level guys, neither did I met with people who have sucpiciously awesome weaponry compared to their level.

Ps. Not having a rage about you hitting non-cheaters, just wondering whether your cheat-detection software can tell exactly who it is who's cheating out of a group.

bots might get old, but they might add fun stuff

i dont get why people cheat , on silver finishing the challange was great feeling becuas it was hard
so dont put in pvp that will have people cheat more just to be better than the rest wich is nonsence , the mp plays like horde mode, you can do a lotwith that

BioWare is aware of the cheating that is occurring in multiplayer. We believe our multiplayer mode is a valuable addition for our fans, and we hope you are having just as much fun as we are while playing co-op with
your friends.
For our fans, we acknowledge that some people are cheating. We are actively monitoring server logs since the Demo of Mass Effect 3 and when we find obvious signs of cheating, we are acting against those individuals. Our focus is to remove the type of cheating that is detrimental to the honest fans.
To some of you, it may appear that we are not doing anything against the cheaters. This is not true. However, we are being careful to ensure that the individuals flagged as cheaters are clearly and repeatedly cheating. We do not want to act against honest people.
If you feel your experience has been affected by playing with a cheater, please send us a message at me3mpcheaters@bioware.com. Please also add the Origin ID/Gamertag/PSN ID of the supposed cheater
along with the time of your match(es) with him and why you think this user has been cheating.
We appreciate you help and patience with this matter.
Lol. They monitor cheaters, but lack doing other stuff like framerate issues, freezing and many other tech errors. Have fun spectating cheaters lazy devs.

Ok so my last day of private college before my march break was on the 9th. I have been playing multiplayer pretty much non stop since then and I have missed out on more than just a little sleep lol
I am wondering if it is possible that I will be flagged as a cheater, or does bioware have programs in place that will see that I have earned every bit of what I have achieved?
I was having a great deal of fun trying to climb the leaderboards and forming good teams with other skilled players on my friends list. I have also had a good time climbing the leaderboards through quick match and extending my knowledge to newer players and talking effective character builds. since getting a few too many "cheater" messages and two negative feedbacks on my xbox live rep (apparently a high N7 rating is considered unsporting) my enjoyment of the game is turning into worrying that I may get banned for no good reason.
If I didn't have class from the 6th to the 9th I would likely have a score close to 600 would I have already been banned if that were the case?
I am glad bioware is cracking down on cheaters. I really hate cheaters. I just want to be sure they know the difference between the cheaters and the crazy mass effect fan that's having the time of their life on spring break.
p.s sorry if this is terribly written and hard to read. I am a little tired at the moment

Apparently there are aimbots out for this game already...
How wonderful! It's VAC secure! (Since Obviously EA would use VAC |=......)
I don't know why the hell anyone would want an Aimbot (Heck, PAY for an aimbot) in a game that's so damn easy to aim in. The only -hard- part is using -tactics-. Aiming is the least of your concern.

Having multilayer settings stored locally is bad design any way you cut it though.

I hope they can differentiate between someone hacking their game and someone just quick joining a public game with a cheater host.

Well they said than they have logs, so can be ease look who is the host, and if the mates of the match was invited or randome connections.. so maybe they ban just the Host and the invited ppl,, I hope..

Bioware/EA's wallets get hurt, duh. If credits are simple to come by, no one will by origin cash or whatever RMT method the consoles use.
this.

I have a question that needs to be answered and I don't really know where to post it so maybe one of you guys or a developer can answer it for me.
Ok so my last day of private college before my march break was on the 9th. I have been playing multiplayer pretty much non stop since then and I have missed out on more than just a little sleep lolBasically what I am getting at is; as of right now my N7 rating is 378 (on xbox 17 in canada) and will likely hit the 400's by the end of the day. I have received a few messages from people calling me a cheater and a number of players leave my games as soon as they enter the lobby.
I am wondering if it is possible that I will be flagged as a cheater, or does bioware have programs in place that will see that I have earned every bit of what I have achieved?

Apparently I "Trash Talk" when I don't even have my mic plugged in... seems kinda odd.
People report you for anything these days, even after matches where I revive everyone and use my mic just saying "Hey there are 2 Primes coming on the left!" I get down voted for being too aggressive? What the hell?
My guess = 11 year olds who think that anyone better than them is hacking, and that trash talking is when your character says "Ha they're dead!"...
