Dont quote me on that though.

I don't know what the policy is either, but if that's it then I also expect them to restore back to my inventory all of the equipment I had on me when I left the game. Otherwise, why should we throw away equipment we worked to get or paid for (I don't spend real money on MP, but I know others do) because some jackwagon can't be bothered to play the game right?

And as someone up there said, this is completely ruining the gaming experience for me. I can't get into a single Platinum game without some missile glitching fool in there. Makes the game feel like a Bronze match with a bunch of explosions going off.

Ok this is kinda weird, I got an email reply from Ernest Tse saying my gamertag wasn't banned so I went to the ME3 Mp menu and everything was back to normal. When last might I couldn't play at all and the weirdest part was my Cerberus Harrier was missing and I had dlc classes unlocked that I hadn't got in any packs, just weird. I can play again though, that's all I care about.

annoys me i try to get points but they steal kills although i must admit i have found it useful playing with people using it the number of big enemies is ridiculous on platinum but fun i like a challenge and to be honest you wont get fun out of it if you just going to cheat there is no point.
Also what i wanna know is how the fudge did they find this glitch in the first place?

I hope they do something about the missile glitchers soon. I'm tired of going into a gold match seeing missile glitching and leaving. I dont even want to play Plat or Gold because of them. I just stay in Silver and Bronze now. They at least stay away from there.

Today I had to leave a Gold match because one of the players started to use the infinite missile glitch.
I left the game immediatly and I don't remeber his Gamertag. Do you know if I'll have problems if I don't report him?
I was the host but I left immediately. I hope BW will see who was the real cheater.

These cheaters are ruining the game experience.

I left as soon as he used the glitch, namely wave 1. He never waited to see the most dangerous enemies.... I'll never understand those cheaters.

Just a question what will happen is someone is not aware of the cheaters? I mean in the later waves it's not easy to track all messages on screen and if you see someone using 3-4 missiles they could be using the "legal" version on the missile launcher...

Anyway I usually detected them since they will use more than 5 missiles.
I suppose I'll leave the lobby when I see one of the weapons used for the glitch (Scorpion is one of them but I read even Falcon and Striker may be sued by such cheater)

I hope BW will fix it asap: this is ruin my fun. Every time I had to watch every single on-screen message instead of fully focusing my attention on the match.

The first persons who thought this glitch to other cheater ruined the fun of this game for many honest players.

Since Platinum is absolutely rife with glitchers, some of whom are cheating and STILL lose constantly, I'd like to clarify the 'rules' of playing with cheaters.

+ I am NOT allowed to go into a match with someone who I know is cheating, if I have see nthem cheat or if they have told me they are cheating.

+ I am allowed to go into a match with someone who MAY be cheating; I don't have to quit just because someone wants to use the Falcon.

+ I am allowed to keep playing if I am already inthe match when they start cheating, whether or not I joined from the lobby or got dumped into the game. I am NOT required to quit a game in progress.

+ I am NOT allowed to keep playing further games with someone who has cheated at all, even if they say they won't cheat or change character to one who can't glitch.

+ I am NOT required to report the cheating to Bioware, although it is good if I do.

I really hope this is true. I've ran into two missle cheaters two of the last three times I've played and I reported both of them, but I did finish the matches because it was round 2 or 3 and I had got dumped into the matches and would've lost my items if I'd have left. I'm not going to spend the credits I got just in case they want to reclaim them.

An effective way to fix the missile glitch without actually fixing it would be to have anyone who activates it be susceptible to friendly fire. They'll ragequit.

Another thing on this, I can actually fire more than 5 missiles a game. So, well I don't usually use them at all. But then again, I haven't tried Plat after hearing about the ban wave. Here's the thing, if I fire say, 2 or 3 missiles in a row, "legally", and then everyone else left the game. Who's fault's that? Entirely hypothetical, but possible, yea, now I hate glitchers. I seriously won't even touch this game, SP or MP until this mess is cleared out.

Instead of banning people... why not fix the glitch? Radical thought I know, but it can easily be done. Just don't allow the rocket to be switched away from until 2 seconds after the shot has been fired.

I decided to try platinum of the first time. I met several people who were missile glitching. I'm never playing that mode again now. I have video proof of the cheaters too (I live stream capture everything I game) so I will have video proof in the email.

One other thing though, I saw two players hiding on Hydra outside of the map. Is this cheating as well?

I forgot several players unlocked more missile capacity cards befored they were capped at 5.
This is another issue, then.
If I saw a player is firing 6 missiles on wave 10 he may is doing it "lawfully" but if he is cheating I risk to be banned because I completed a match with a cheater.

In order I could be hold responsible for other players' actions and this is not fair.

We need an official response from BW on that. I cannot play fearing that every single player with certain weapons is a cheater, and if I miss to realize they are cheating (because I'm focused on enemies) I risk to get banned.

Of course I see the screen filled with the X player killed with Missiles a constant flux of enemies it's pretty clear.

Anyway I don't know if this happens in the English version as well (I have English audio but not interface) but the Destroyer Missle Laucher is indetified on screen in the same way the Cobra missiles does.

During one match I saw a "X Player [missile launcher] Nemesis" on Wave 3 and I thoguht I met a cheater.
Then I realized he killed a single enemy with the Destroyer Missle Launcher.

I hate to look like a lazy bum but 70 odd pages is a lot to look through and I'd probably overlook the answer I need. But, basically all I want to know is what if someone in your game wasn't glitching at first but then the second game did? Because, I read somewhere they penalize you if you have more than 1 game with a glitcher.

Also, the number of glitchers is just ludicrous and I tend to play the game almost everyday but there's no way I can remember if so and so person in my game on wednesday was the same glitcher as the one I met on monday. At least not unless I write every glitcher's name on a sheet of paper and check if one of them is in my lobby. So what do I do in the above case then?

Fix the glitch. It's very hard to read the feed and play the game at the same time all the time, especially on the harder difficulties.

Is cheating a problem? Absolutely. Should people be punished for "guilt by association"? No. "Guilt by association" is problematic because it is entirely possible that an innocent non-glitcher could be banned (in other words, not intentionally benefiting from an actual glitcher). I would be plenty peeved off if I got banned because I wasn't babysitting everyone else's style of play. I've paid a good bit of real money into the store, so arbitrary bans have my hackles up. Ban the habitual glitchers. As many have said before, it'd be even better if the glitch is fixed. I won't even equip the striker out of fear, as that's been the gun that's been mentioned the most (even though if you host you can't do the glitch, I still won't do it). That's a shame.

Well, if they were playing normally in the first game, but then started glitching in the second game, then you're fine, as you couldn't have known thet they were a missile glitcher in the first match.

Well there is one funny thing about all this "cheating".
I've just got back from my summer vacations to realize i have my email hacked. I've taken that back in a half of an hour with Google tech support guys just to see my ME3 MP Account was banned. I can prove i was away from home for a month (that was acceptable for google) but nobody gives a **** at BW's side about my problem.

Does that count for ''friendly relationships' with players?

Damnit.

At this point, I don't think it's even possible to get a Platinum pickup game without a missile glitcher in it. I sure as hell can't find one. Every single time I've tried platinum, there's some jackhole in it glitching. Just tried agian, here's another idiot. And to make it worse, he SUCKS .. he has missile glitching on is getting his butt kicked. How bad does he suck without it?

He went down 5 times in the first two waves and I refused to revive him ... so we're playing Platinum with 3 players and two of those guys are half the time trying to revive the idiot. Made it to Wave 3. I've been waiting for this new more difficult mode to see if I can survive .. to test myself and I can't even get a decent game in. They need to do something:

1) Stop with this Ban Wave crap ... you find someone cheating, ban their butts on the spot. They can tell from the logs if it's some guy who just tried it once or who got it by mistake and a guy doing it over and over. Hell, take a look at the Platinum game logs alone.

2) Fix the damn bug. This is such BS ... it has been happening for months. If you can't fix it, remove the weapons it works on until you do.

Man this is so frustrating.

How long are people being banned from the game by using the glitch? A week? A Month? Forever? Until the glitch is taken care of?

Oh, thank god this missile glitch does not present on PC.
I'm playing into MP on PC from day one and I never (yes, NEVER) saw a single obvious cheater. May be it's because I'm almost always host a games, don't know.

So I open my email to find this

"Hello,

Your Origin account was flagged as a potential cheater. During our investigation we have evidence verifying this claim. BioWare’s cheating policy can be found here:

http://social.biowar.../index/12467716

At this time we are going to issue you your first and final warning. If you are caught further exploiting multiplayer your account will be reprimanded according to the previously mentioned policy. If you have any questions you can contact ME3AccountAdmin@BioWare.com.

Regards,

Thomas Abram"

Funny thing is I do not play the game on PC, and I've never activated an origin account. Unless they're just using my EA account in general. Even so, I don't play with missile glitchers, I did credit glitch a few times back when it was popular - but I got bored of it after a few times. Considering that I got a warning and not an instant ban I am led to believe someone reported me for griefing/leaching/kicking them out of my lobbies.

They state that they have proof, and I would like to see it because If I have done something wrong I would really love to know what exactly it was.

BW ya need to have a pop up in the game just like when an event starts or new DLC that states a warning about cheating and put MISSLE GLITCHING will result in a PERM ban
That needs to pop up EVERY time you load the game until it's fixed
