Totally.  People hoard in game credits when new DLC is about to come out and are often able to max out all new weapons by buying a crap-ton of PSPs in a row.

I was in a game this weekend where 2 Vorcha's did the same thing.  They told me and the other player to "stop killing everything so fast, they needed to get the glitch right so we could win"....  I took their ID Tags down and finished the game, then quit...  I have reported them today too...  I don't understand why people hold PUBLIC Games only to use the glitches and  cheats.  If you want to do that, host a POrivate game with your friends so it doesn't affect all of us...

You can't really use cheat codes in ME3 (console) without patching the binary and it's not really well documented for patch 3. Though you can use that to find glitches.

You fail to understand the point (again...). It is not about how the cheat codes work and not even about ME3 specifically. It is about openly advocating cheating and "destroying competion" and then banning thousands of gamers for exploiting bugs you are either unable or unwilling to fix.

I am no CS expert, but I recognise pathetic when I see it.

Ive been waiting for a response to my case number 04432739 for about 6-7 weeks now. I was told my case would take 8 days because of high case load but its been 6 weeks. ive called several times each time they "escalated it" and i would be contacted soon. and still nothing Ive yet to recieve a single email. I was told that i was banned because on jun12 i recieved 20 commindation packs which is obviously false or i would have more then 5 promotional commindation special weapons.


Ive spend roughly 250$ on PSPs on top of the price for the game, as well as on top of paying extra for the DLC. this is now beyond exceptable. It is obvious my case is not going to be taken under review and has somehow fallen between the cracks. I am not sure what else to do, so I am trying this email. my next step will be to contact Visa to arrange a charge back for the packs i purchased in good faith to play the multiplayer side of this game.


If you look at my account I own nearly every bioware game since KOTOR came out, thats KOTOR , KOTOR2, all the Baldersgate and neverwinter night games BIOSHOCK 1-2 , Dragonage 1-2 and all DLC , Mass Effect 1-3 and ALL dlc. Now to be mistakenly banned that was fine assuming they where to actually look into my account and find the error but its is going on two months with no response and the telephone CS reps being less then useful (no fault of there own)


This is a extremely shady way to treat a long term customer, the communication has been non existant.

You do know that's for single player games right?
And what's this BS about a CS degree understanding cheat codes?
There's a huge difference between cheat codes and glitches.

Okay, I get it. English is not your first language and you have problems understanding written texts. Try reading the highlighted part (over and over if necessary) until the penny drops.

And try to see the "BS about a CS degree" as a reference to yourself and your activity on the BSN. I thought it was really obvious. My mistake.

Umm I have a question, does AFK = cheating? 'Cause I just played with someone on gold who just kept running into the enemy and get killed on purpose so the game don't kick him/her. I have pics to boot, but I don't wanna report if it's not "cheating".

I wouldn't expect so.  If you're on Xbox 360, just open his profile and avoid the player.  I don't know if there is a feature for this on PC or PS3.

When referring to Dead Space, it means the cheat codes part.

When referng to Mass Effect 3 multiplayer, it means the expert tips part.

This should be obvious.

What constitutes as griefing? You report it like you would a cheater, right? 

Does getting followed around by a player while he shoots at you and sends threatening messages about you and your family count? ._.

So, I have a ban of my Multiplayer acaunt, but it isn't my blame, it isn't panishment for me.
I mean that my origin friend(if it needs i'll write his nick) had invited me into his game, I don't mind that it was a cheatering game, so, In the end of the game we got much more money and exp. It was my mistake that I don't write about it here lately...
So then I leave my town for 2 weeks and when I came I saw a BAN OF MY ACAUNT!
I imidiatly wrote to the EA HELP CENTRE but they can't help...
Please can you help me?
I achive so much in the game you should just take off my money and some equpments and my exp for those mission, but you should unban my acaunt. Please.It isn't my blame!

Bioware just needs to acknowledge why people are cheating in the first place. They instantly ban people without askin the biggest question. WHY. people started cheating because the game has been getting more and more outrageous. Constant fluctuation with guns and enemies and the shopping system which consistently fails and gives out multiples of everything while not giving all unlocks. Everytime we figure out anything with the game bioware changes it(makes more difficult enemies, weaker guns, etc.) and has basically turned the game into a BETA released as an actual finished game. I understand if they feel like we need more challenge or whatever but constantly changing every bit of multiplayer that they feel like is ridiculous. if they want to continue to change things they should look into another form of multiplayer in which what they have now is a working piece without glitches(rocket trooper spamming rockets, vangaurd falling through the map & dying while charging) that seem to never get fixed yet we are always under scrutiny for anything done. Bioware created this game and released it, to change it every week is almost a slap in the face to people that enjoyed what the game once was and what they paid for. Regardless of whether Bioware wants people to stop cheating, they will constantly find a way to farm or look for more glitches to exploit until the game gets a system that works. And they should probably stop listening to the people that want them to make the enemies harder and harder, It makes it ridiculous for the casual gamer to play.

Your statement can only make sense if we assume that people are only playing so that they might receive credits so they can buy more packs.... for some reason.

Who gets hurt?  Anyone who plays the game for fun or challenge.  If I wanted someone else to play the game for me I wouldn't be playing myself.

1st: 12 years, huh? That's pretty impressive. I didn't know 1 year olds could play multiplayer games.

2nd: It's padawan, not padwan. If you're going to insult someone with a reference to Star Wars, you should probably spell it right.

3rd: What do you mean "No clear goal"? I thought the goal was to survive while completing objectives along the way. If you can't understand that simple concept, then I feel bad for you son. I got 99 problems but a goal ain't one.

I've reported it. Can I spend the credits, or should I await them being removed?

I'd say wait a couple weeks first, to be safe.  I've personally though have never stayed all the way through a game when I knew there was a cheat going on in it, so I don't know if they'll remove the creds or not.

Played a mission a few days ago... I was teleported in game about mission 3. I was playing London and I look down from the elevated flat and see (no i'm exaggerating) about 50 Cerberus grunt troops.. I start lobbing grenades and then I see about 8 atlases running around and some guy named hulk something... killing everything. By the end of the match, the top two players had over 700k in points and I had just over 200k... it was crazy and my computer went snail most of the missions, sticking, and was not able to keep up. At the end of the round we all got 50k in credits.... I quit that team and look to see my credits over 500k. ....fun yes, weird yes, fricken cool, yes... cheat - Yep ....Reported Yes.

lololol well, the problem with cheaters in cooperative modes is that less people care unless the person uses some kind of godmode and just plays afk most of the time, but honestly, in a real situation, an aimbot won't really annoy other player in ME3 MP (well, they will most likely let the cheater do all the work ) because you will still get pretty much all the credits you would have got without the cheater and you don't care about XP if you are level 20 either (@ bioware, replace the extra XP when max galaxy rating with extra creds, with silver/gold missions you get to level 20 pretty fast anyways)

But yeah, cheating is bad, regardless of where you do it (if you do it in singleplayer, you are just ruining your gameplay experience on the long run, I actually DID use some cheats in SP games a few years ago- yeah, shame on me, but I stopped using them because they ruined all the fun I had in the game- I NEVER used them in any MP game/gamemode, you have my word on that)

So- be fair to your fellow players, don't cheat and stick to the rules, you'll have more fun that way. The only thing close to a cheater in ME3 I have seen this fas was (a few months ago) a guy who glitched out of the map (the map with the antennas, forgot its name), I guess he used the vanguard glitch and ended up somewhere outside the map where he ran off to the distance and spent most of the time afk, (guess he was busy exploring the area beyond the map) and sometimes he sniped random basic enemies. No I don't remember who he was or whether he ACTUALLY did that on purpose- it could have been simply a glitch and he didn't want to quit the match, that's why most of the cheaters go unnoticed because if somebody cheats, most of the people simply won't care because they won the match thanks to the cheater and got their portion of credits

I just hope that more game producers do it like the guys from battlefield handle it- ban them permanently, because if you cheat in MP pvp games you deserve to get banned (I did witness some aimbotters- who used a wallhack too- on BF3 and THAT really is no fun to play with)

just beware of player whose name seems to be a load of I's their trick is, to avoid reporting (so I assume) that they actually use a combination of the big "i" and the small "L" so that you can't figure out their actual gametag from the picture- that's my theory, so they can display their cheats on youtube without haveing fear of being banned, just look at youtube for some cheating players, and you'll figure this out pretty fast and don't try do download any of these cheats, besides of you getting banned, you have a high risk of towing a virus/trojan/keylogger into your computer)

Are we sure the missle cheat has been fixed?

I just played a Gold match and a couple of players used many missiles.
Since they didn't use only missiles I suppose they just used all the missiles in the "inventory" but I'd like to know if we can cease to fear the presence of missile cheater everytime a player uses more than 2 cobra missiles.
