You should at least thank Bioware, cause they created the Star Wars of our generation. They created the best story on videogames history. They created an amazing franchise. The ending is genius. You say you did a lot of choices troughout the series for nothing?? Well think twice.Every one of those choices had a repercussion. Made every mission in ME3 special.
Do You honestly think that Bioware is lazy, they just said, aa F&%$ we made a HELL of a story, with every detail covered, hours and hours of gameplay, SO let's just make a ****ty ending with 3 decisions. After everything they did, years of developing, years of writing, do you honestly think that they just were lazy? that they tried to screw us?
There's a reason beyond those choices, there's more to it. We just have to figure it out. I think Bioware is genius. Calm down people

While I appreciate your optimism that Bioware will do something, I'm still very skeptical.. mostly because of EA.

Yes.
Saying that the reason we're complaining is because the ending wasn't happy and Disney is flat out wrong. I'm angry because:
1) No mass relays, no Mass Effect. There's no intergalactic community. We are again alone in the universe for centuries, millenia, or forever, just with some now new permanent resident species.
2) Plot holes. So many plot holes.
3) No resolution. Meaning our choices for three games meant nothing, and we have no idea what really happened after the game except that the Reapers were beaten.
The anger at the ending is hardly a matter of uniqueness, or even that Shepard died. I would be happier if the Reapers won. At least then I have no questions.

...Did they not?
I can think of a half dozen MAJOR plot holes off the top of my head.
That's not answering all the questions. That's not providing closure.
That's not just lazy writing; that's horrible writing.

I want an ending that makes sense. I wanted to see Wrex take one a reaper with a heavy weapon by himself, I want to see rachnis charging into war, with soldiers riding on their backs, I wanted to see techbots blow up in husks face. I wanted to see geth hack reapers with a super virus created from the reaper code, might have been an only temporary hack, but can you imagine reapers fighting reapers?
Instead we didn't see an epic battle, we a saw lacklustre ending.

Everyone kicked Lucas' arse when he decided Han should shoot first. The creator of a fantastic series should be praised when s/he does great work, and critisised when s/he does not.
Boot licking him/her for a confusing, obscure ending helps in no way. Just sayin'

If you liked it, good for you. But idk why anyone thinks they need to try and hinder other player's attempts to become fully satisfied with a game we ALL loved.

We just want an ending that offers us more of a choice, and does not have major plotholes, one of which being that the space-god-kid contradicted most of what we have learned about the Reapers throughout the series. Also, since this is the conclusion to Shepard's story, we want an ending that ties up loose ends, including what happens to the rest of the galaxy and the characters we have come to know and love (or hate.)mojon123 wrote...
STOP WHINING!!! I'm sad that you prefer a cliche ending: Shepard dies but destroys reapers, we see every squad memeber happy to defeat the Reapers.Really you want that?? You want THAT to be the ending of a franchise that changed vidoegames? You want THAT to be the ending of the most unique videogame? (For me it's the greatest videogame of all time)

Even if you're convinced there is a true ending out there that we would be getting all along.
How can I as a consumer be totally cool with "Hey would you like an incomplete game that we're saying is totally complete?"

Also, before you say that we we got wasn't cliche, consider that anybody that played the first Deus Ex received these exact same choices, and they varied based on the same colors. Sounds original to me.
