I'm just waiting for the driver to finish downloading, and wondering if anyone has any input on this driver version. I've been running everything at High, but think I can run it at very high with my rig. Figured the driver will help. I know it just released yesterday, but if anyone has any feedback, I'd be thankful!
Anyone running w/ the newest nVidia driver (195.62)?

I'm using the new drivers (Win7x64) on my GF8800GTS-640 on High detail at 1280x1024 and everything seems to run just fine. I'd say you're good-to-go.

I installed the 195.62 driver, I'm using 8700 GT. Now the game won't run, says it can't detect a supported graphics driver. WTF!?!?!
"Failed to detect a supported video card." To be exact.

Remove the driver, use a driver cleaner, and re-install it. The joys of computer useage
I'm still running with 186.18 Driver, since the previous one caused problems in Fallout 3. If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

I am not fixing it - I'm improving it
I installed the game with 191.X drivers and it was running fine. Then I upgraded to 195.X drivers and it still works fine. I haven't noticed any differences due to new graphics driver...

I tried the new driver and I had random graphic bugs in the game, sometimes certain items or even the whole character stretched out totally, resulting in big and weird bugs that...simply killed the atmosphere.
Maybe it's because of my current GC. I'm still using the 8400GS, I already bought a new graphic card (N250GTS) but I'm too lazy to install it, despite the obvious performance boost in all of my current games...oh well...
Anyone else with visual bugs in the recent patch so far?

Got the new driver and I'm playing just fine. Actually, the new drivet seems to have corrected a weird bug I had with textures getting tainted. 8600 GT btw.

Ok, removed, cleaned, and reinstalled the 195.62 driver. Now, it works fine using a single GPU, but the minute I enable SLI mode then it is back to "Failed to detect a supported video card." At least I can play.

I grabbed the new driver when I first saw this thread (thanks for the heads-up! forgot to post that).
Works just fine, and frankly I haven't noticed any difference from the previous driver version. Running a SLI setup with EVGA x58 mobo and GTX 285s. Game looks and plays great at 1920x1200 with x32Q AA (SLI) and 16 AF. Textures look good as long as I don't look too close during conversation zooms (pixelation).

I have been using it (the current driver) for about 3-4 days now and NO problems. Everything is MAX settings!

I run 195.55 on a GTX295 with everything maxxed, runs great and no glitches.
I actually downloaded 195.62 the day it came out, but haven't installed it yet because I bought a Radeon HD 5870 on a Black Friday sale and didn't want to fiddle with a display driver issue if I had a new card on the way. Then I got a note this morning that it is still backordered, so if it ends up taking longer than expected, then may end up installing it after all.
Not to turn this into the tech support forum, but here's what I have had luck with so far with the NVIDIA drivers:
1. Run the downloaded file until it gets to the first screen. When it gives you the "next" button, go to the C:\\NVIDIA\\DisplayDriver directory and copy the newly created folder (so now for example, you have a "190.62" folder and a "190.62 - Copy" folder.
2. Exit the installation program. It may or may not erase the 190.62 directory - if it does, run the step from the "190.62 - Copy" directory.
3. Right-click on the setup.exe file and choose 'run as administrator'.
The need his little exercise seems to stem from the setup.exe not inheriting adminisitrator run priv's from the extract file correctly. (It extracts the files as admin, but doesn't pass that along to the setup.exe)
Good luck!

check your SLi bridge. If you have another one replace it to see if that helps.
I have had them go bad before and that is normally the cause of a lot of problems with SLi setups

Running a fairly old driver here (180.48) without any problems at all (apart from the occasional memory leak effects but that is hardly related). Oldie but goldie.

After I installed this one ( just today ) it continuously crashed my game. I admit, I am not one that updates my drivers frequently, matter fact the last time I updated was almost a year ago. The one I had before I installed this one worked perfectly but I had to reformat the other day so I downloaded this one, caused my game to crash about every 15 minutes or so. So back to trying one that was put out right before this one ( since I've no clue what the last driver was that I used before I reformatted my computer ).

I tried the 195's but started seeing performance and graphic issues so went back to the 191's and things are back to flawless and beautiful.
It's a pretty common thing that certain driver versions work better with certain video chipsets in certain games so I wasn't surprised.

I'm using the 195 driver without issues, didn't have them with the 191 either though.
The thing you may want to do is get the latest version of DX from Microsoft and if you are running SLI on Nvidia cards get the latest SLI update, it does help with frame rates and has support for Dragon Age as well as other games.

i'm using on Windows 7 a Geforce Nvidea En9800GT and with the 195.62
and it works all fine, just try not to set evrything at high.. i got like 9/10 of all things at high (i got 2gb ram and a Dual core AMD 2.71GHz)
So i would say try it, if its bugged just delete you're drivers and re-install
