Did anybody else load up a new save, and try and walk backwards, and reject the three choices? Go back down the elevator as it were? On the off chance that there was a 'secret' fourth choice?
Its sad that this is what my life is reduced to following the atrocity of ME3's ending.

I did try that, yes. As it was, I just quite the game before making the choice, came here and joined the fleet.

I think we've tried everything out of sheer defiance.
In that, at least we carry the spirit of the true Commander Shepard.

I know how you feel. I think the majority of us do.
I really hope we all can band together to save the ending. If we fail I'll sell all my ME games and try to never think about it or BioWare again. If we succeed, I'll buy a new copy of all three, look back at it as my favorite trilogy ever, and play through it all once a year for a long long while
Hold the line

Actually I just turned my Xbox 360 off shaking my head. I honestly think they hired someone to sit around thinking about how to ultimately destroy the series.

Yeah, I did that too. I had no luck either.

What about sitting around and waiting?

I tried jumping off the Citadel. Damn Reaper-Kid put invisible walls there.

I literally powered my computer down and just thought and thought and...gave up and watched the crappy ending unfold.

I feel sorta like Tobias Funke confronted with the truth that he is a worse psychiatrist than he is an actor.
The thought of the ending was so hateful, my mind literally rejected it.

This.
Being limited to choices - ESPECIALLY by the enemy - was never how Shepard solved things. He walked out on the man who spent so much money to bring him back to life; you're telling me he's going to listen to the one responsible for killing trillions - if not more - over the last how many cycles?
As I stated in another thread - if given that kind of option, I think Shepard would've connected the dots.
The repears are controlled by the Catalyst.
The Catalyst is the Citadel.
Destroy -just- the Citadel.
