How did Joker and my love interest that was supposed to be dead end up on a lush jungle world after crashing out of a mass relay?

In the synthesis ending, how is that a beam of energy is able to merge articial life and organic life into one single DNA type framework? I mean, does it somehow "know" what things are what?

Why is the main difference in the cinematics just the color of the beam?

What about all the people who won't just die, but die slowly and painfully because the relays were destroyed? The Krogan have no ships and no means to supply a nearly dead world. Any Dextro lifeform at Earth that survives is doomed to starvation? How will they manage?

How did they get the Citadel to Earth? It's clearly to big to transported via the relays, and the fact that Reapers are delayed by the destruction of one relay in ME 2 shows they don't have any means to traverse space instantly. How is this possible?
