Well... I'm not giving up on the indoctrination/not real ending theory. Although this doesn't really help...

And there's still a -chance- of that. But I'm guessing now all their wink-wink, nudge-nudge tweets were making fun of us. So...back to square one: Settle in, folks. It's going to be a long campaign.

See episode 1-3 of the Star wars franchise...flawed because no one could tell george "No".
I really don't know if it applies here, but it could.
I think it does. For some baffling reason, they let Mac Walters rewrite the entire basis of the Reapers. Perhaps someone could have said "wait Mac, that doesn't fit with everything we've said about them in the two previous games".
But no. No one did.

If by some act of God they actually release future DLC that expands upon the game, it sure as hell won't be free, and you will basically be giving EA more money to screw you again in the future.
It's time to move on. Mass Effect is dead. Just like BioWare and EA.

It'll be hilarious if SW:TOR takes a dent or even sinks because of this.
I think that could be our best chance, because EA would lose a lot of money if that happened. I don't know how much it costs per month(no highspeed so i don't play MMOs)but I will just assume it's something like $10 a month,if 5000 of the people who are upset about this ending stop playing it EA will be losing $50,000 a month. that is the sort of thing CEOs and investors notice and they may force Bioware to make changes just to try and get that money back.

Yeah, me too. It's not some vague implication that there might be more than meets the eye, he flat out says that he likes the idea of a very vague and confusing ending so that fans will "continue to debate it and talk about it" for a while.
Are any of them paying attention at ALL?!

People are discussing the endings so much because of how disappointed they are, and they're just grabbing at straws in the hopes that they didn't waste all their time and effort for a resolution that was completely unsatisfying.

No one back down! Keep voicing your arguments, keep voting in polls, spread the word, don't let your resolve waver! No battles were ever won by giving up!
Until the very end is completely certain, HOLD THE LINE!

Way to throw away a reserved seat to the "Greatest Video Game Series Ever Hall of Fame" by fumbling at the 1-yard line.
They earned as the greatest though..... for the worst videogame ending of all time.
I still cant believe they INTENTIONALLY made the ending ridiculous and stupid so that people would talk about it.
I bet bioware designed cortez when they were coming up with the ending. Got in the theme of sticking it to their customerrs.

The thing is I don't actually mind if the endings stay the same. I just want an explaination on what happens to everyone after the fact.Knight Terror wrote...
It's time to move on guys. If you really think BioWare/EA is going to devote money and resources into creating a "better" ending, then you are delusional.

We can't stop now, just because of some ambiguous statement in an interview.
What's more, if you thought you could change BioWare's mind before, how is it any different now?
Now is definitely the time to hold the line.

i can't believe there are people that still believe these are the final endings. once again he's trying to avoid the question because shepard's being indoctrinated at the end and you have to choose the destroy option at the end to beat it. they aren't ready to reveal this yet so they keep dodging the question. it's so frickin obvious.
people keep saying this but prove it. thats all conjecture right now, its obvious they think they've done something amazing with these endings and theres a GOOOOD possibility we're stuck with what we have right now....

This just proves that the endings are carefully manufactured and crafted in a way so that more questions are asked than answered in hopes that the fans will find closure via forming different interpretations. There has always been a little bit of mystery
there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people
can talk about after the fact.
