This just proves that the endings are carefully manufactured and crafted in a way so that more questions are asked than answered in hopes that the fans will find closure via forming different interpretations. There has always been a little bit of mystery
there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people
can talk about after the fact.
It proves nothing of the sort. All it proves that Bioware is ignoring the issue.

Henceforth, no matter what happens, screwing up a video game ending so badly that it directly affects its sale price within one week of release shall be known as "Pulling a Bioware."
I like that.

See episode 1-3 of the Star wars franchise...flawed because no one could tell george "No".
I really don't know if it applies here, but it could.
I think it does. For some baffling reason, they let Mac Walters rewrite the entire basis of the Reapers. Perhaps someone could have said "wait Mac, that doesn't fit with everything we've said about them in the two previous games".
But no. No one did.
Welcome to the Business World.
Most people keep the mouths shut so they don't jeopardize their own job and standing within the company.
That's not how a design team should work though. I get that it's more than software and an actual story someone is writing. But there comes a point where someone on the team has to stand up and say this no longer makes any sense.
That's the point of a writing team, editors, producers, etc. To catch something before it spirals out of control like this situation is.

And if true it means they sold us an unfinished game that is incomplete........Very poor business practice. Which is worse. selling an incomplete product or a crappy ending?jbkr123 wrote...

i can't believe there are people that still believe these are the final endings. once again he's trying to avoid the question because shepard's being indoctrinated at the end and you have to choose the destroy option at the end to beat it. they aren't ready to reveal this yet so they keep dodging the question. it's so frickin obvious.
people keep saying this but prove it. thats all conjecture right now, its obvious they think they've done something amazing with these endings and theres a GOOOOD possibility we're stuck with what we have right now....

"Sons and daughters of Earth! Of Illium! My brothers! My sisters!
I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me!
A day may come when our hope fails, when we forsake Mass Effect and break all bonds of fan-ship.
But it is not this day.
An hour of Cerberus and energy-drained shields when the age of Mass Effect comes crashing down!
But it is not this day! This day we hold the line!
By all that you hold dear from this great trilogy, I bid you stand! Fans of Mass Effect!"

I am not sure wich is worse.
There is no debate , no trying to understand the hidden meaning, because there is bloody none. the endings are so packed with plot holes that they'd make a piece of swiss cheese looks like concrete in comparison.
