ME3 just took an arrow to the knee!!!!

Big wonder Skyrim sold more than 12 million copies, while ME3 might just break 3-4 million.

I say we need to relax. It's damage control, they still want to sell titles of ME3, yet at the same time, they don't want to say "we effed up."

He did say there is singleplayer content on the way....so let's give them a chance to move first. Right now all we have our words.

Be patient, give Bioware a chance. After all, the game has only been out for almost 1 week now.

"We have some really great multiplayer content and some really great single-player content coming over the air, and their feedback will become part of how we design that."

I'm still holding the line, but I'm waiting for their response as well. So far everyone, from Mike Gamble to now Casey Hudson has said something along the lines of "wait". I will do just that at this point.

As I said arrogant and pretentious. I'll never buy another game produced by Mr. Hudson again.

Dude you make a mass-market computer game... you're not painting the Sistine Chapel. Even if you think you're as important as a Hollywood Director/Producer how many movies each year can legitimately be called art and not mass entertainment?

I'm pretty sure this doesn't say anything, there was debate as to weather it was indeed indoctrination or not, that's what he was most likely referring to. This doesn't change anything as its just more avoiding to answer anything.

Can we please just wait till March 15 before we finally accept that this game has the worst ending ever.

LoL what a load of crap! And I'll bet that answer was the culmination of hours of pre-meditated (fail) brainstorming.

Thats it, i've lost all faith. Never buying anything from bioware ever again. I am so disappointed with this response. I feel like we are not being listened to at all, that they don't even read anything anyone says. they just hear it second hand and don't care.

^^ This! A thousand times this.
I also hope bioware goes bust, but that's just my spitefulness talking.
Casey Hudson is now most definitely on my s***-list

30,000 people saying "THE ENDING SUCKS, CHANGE IT" is not a debate about meaning...

It's more akin to a bunch of your friends saying "Get off the ****ing tracks! There's a TRAIN coming."

Plugging your ears and going "Lalalalala" will not magically deflect the train.

No matter what color your space magic is.

You do realize 30,000 people is just under 4% of the entire purchasing base? Which is a lot to be up in arms.

The vocal minority rarely comprises more than .5% or so.

Someone gather up all his previous quotes (with site links for ref) and then this new one that basically shows a duplicitous nature after they got a chunk of their money from ppl and send it to those guys at Forbes that are criticizing them for bad business. They might love to see this.

So you're telling me that you felt the need to explain everything about the entire fictional universe, right down to the basic physiology of each race, and even ham-handedly tried to explain the Reapers, but in the last moment of the game "mystery" is important?

Was there *anything* else about the franchise that was mysterious? I can't think of a single other thing about the story that was left "up for interpretation." When did this interpretation business start, exactly?

It sure will be memorable for the Bioware staff when EA guts your studio for not meeting sales expectations *shakes head in disgust*

I'm not encouraged by this, but look at how cautious and inconclusive it is. It sounds a lot like the sort of thing you might say when you want people to think their opinions don't matter, that they're not having any effect, while in reality you're at least feeling it.

We can't stop now, just because of some ambiguous statement in an interview.

What's more, if you thought you could change BioWare's mind before, how is it any different now?

Now is definitely the time to hold the line.

Yeah actually screw it. I'm going to try harder to make people more aware of this, and try get people to support the chairty more.
Hes playing mind games, trying to make us feel like hes unaware of this all.

I beg you people

HOLD.THE.LINE.

Yeah the fact that he is making a statement and trying be dismissive of us shows that they are worried and he is trying to control the dammage. the only dammage that you go to the trouble to control is damage that can hurt you.  the fact is he now answers to EA and if they see people canceling Star War accounts, games seliing cheaper, and less DLC being sold then for ME2 they will not be happy.  He is trying to stop us by treating us like a joke, that means he is scared of what we could do to his company.  he is trying to make us lose heart because he knows we can win this if we just stick together.

I will hold the line. And remember we are only the first wave. Hammer is inbound with more reinforcements.

I think we just have to accept the truth folks. Mass Effect as we know it is over. But don't be sad, soon we will get to play; The Sims: The Mass Effect expansion.

Take control of Liara, Tali, Joker and Garrus and establish a new life for them on Pandora! With the first game you will recieve 1000 Sims points, so be sure to check out the new medbay collection! Maybe buy a bottle of alchol for Shakwas, she sure likes her liquer!
