I will probably buy BW games in future but I wont ever preorder from them again. Ill be waiting till post release to get an idea of what the game is like.

And im a little aghast that this is Casey's response. Though I suppose we shouldn't be surprised Bioware initially attempted to be dismissive of the criticism of Dragon Age 2 (the valid criticism as well as the whining because it was different) and about a month or so after release was finally forced to recognise and admit to the games flaws.

BW response to DA2 criticism. Paraphrasing of course, in honour of the great system Bioware oh so loves.

Obfuscation. "There isn't any great controversy about the game. Its awesome, everyone says so." - Mike Laidlaw
Denial. "The game is great. The criticism is just whiny fan boys not liking change." -Ray Muzukya
Anger. "Whiny fanboys ruining the game and our sales over nothing! Why don't you just grow up!" -David Silverman
Deflection. "Wasn't my fault I wrote a fantastic game. The suckiness is the fault of the Dev Team." - David Gaider
Acceptance. "Okay so we made mistakes with DA2, some of them pretty bad. We are sorry," -Mike Laidlaw

And it seems that the Mass Effect team are determined to the exact same thing.

The lead dev (the very sexy Casey Hudson)  has just given us:-

Obfuscation. "We intended for the end to be controversial. Everyone loves it." -Casey Hudson

You just wait; next is a Denial that theres anything wrong from The Doctors, then Anger from someone in Marketing or a Producer (most likely Mr Gamble) reacting all pissed off about the criticism, then Mac Walters saying it wasn't his fault it was Drew Karpyshyn for writing him into a corner, and then finally Casey admitting the ending sucks; I guarantee.

God its going to be may before we get there.

Another two months of...this...Eugh.

Easy guys, getting banned won't help anyone. Hopefully it was either done before the game's release, or he was trying to buy time and ease some pressure. Obviously it probably didn't go as he intended, but ease up on the guy a bit. He is probably under tremendous stress and personal insults aren't going to help the Cause. Hold The Line and hope.
