As I said arrogant and pretentious. I'll never buy another game produced by Mr. Hudson again.

Dude you make a mass-market computer game... you're not painting the Sistine Chapel. Even if you think you're as important as a Hollywood Director/Producer how many movies each year can legitimately be called art and not mass entertainment?

Well and how many big director/producers make movies that people don't like and get to keep making them?

People, please do calm down and do not be silly... Hudson's response really does not mean nothing. It is very evasive - he had to say something, so he did. Another answer, where he says that they listen to fans and tailor DLCs to our needs is much more important. Do not take it so seriously, nor emotionally. Do we really want to look like a bunch of clowns running their own circus? At the very beginning this "campaign" was very rational and calm, but right now, with all your reactions, it is getting stupidly funny. Anyway, I still agree with you and want endings to be added/changed, just let's not exagerate, ok?

Reading his "answer" was just as bad as the ME3 endings and God...I just got that sick feeling in my stomach again...

Could someone, anyone, please remove the giant knife sticking out of the community's back?

At this point, I'm about ready to drink the Kool-Aid and believe that BioWare has some sort of grand announcement planned that's going to destroy all our complaints and fix this issue.

I mean, I know they're not going to come right out and say, "Dammit, why don't you guys like our ending?" and be annoyed or panicked. But everybody just seems so... weirdly calm about everything.

I know it's not likely, but at least it's a pleasant thought.

So, they made a bad ending to be sure we will remember it, like "Hey do you remember mass effect all those years back, nice game, but dude, what a bad ending !". Well, I guess it will work, but I'm not sure if it's the best idea they ever had.
Anyway, it sounds to me this guy is completely missing what people are saying. We didn't say the ending left us with too many questions and we want to know more. We are saying it's badly written, full of nonsense, rushed and cheap. I don't want to know more about the characters, I want a real ending, that's quite different.
If I eat some food and say it taste like ****, doesn't mean I want to know how you made it, I'm just saying it taste like **** and I want something else. But yeah, I guess I will remember it.

It's really this easy for the community to lose hope? Wtf happened to hold the line guys?
I don't care how long it takes, we WILL get a proper ending.

i could argue that they are obligated under contract to not say a thing then again i have no idea what there contract says they can and cannot do.

to be honest it would be to risky to say anything as it could result in an even bigger PR ****storm than there is now.

There has always been a little bit of mystery
there and a little bit of interpretation, and it’s a story that people
can talk about after the fact.

This just proves that the endings are carefully manufactured and crafted in a way so that more questions are asked than answered in hopes that the fans will find closure via forming different interpretations.

Otherwise described as Lazy.

Yup, sloppy lazy writing at it's finest. George Lucas would be proud.

Of course it's not a good idea. Looks what's happening to the prices of their game on some sites.

Still, they got our $60 (or $80) purchase and they couldn't care less at this point.

Well, it worked for Twilight.

Anyways, does anyone else read this as somewhat of an avoidance to the question? No? Just me? Wishful thinking?

So our ending is this:
Shepard has 3 choices....He thinks for a second then drops his pants and takes a dump. He picks up his sh*t and throws it everywhere, while running around making monkey sounds.
Yep makes no sense, but would be better than the endings we got.

one can only assume that article was done before launch, and had crappy timing in its release. Alas I know nothing about the process of publishing articles on a website

So the ending is supposed to be open to interpritation?  Well when I see that in an ending I inerpret it as meaning that you were either too lazy, or incapable of writing an actual ending.  When I see an interview where you say the polerizing and debate are great, I interpret that as you not actually noticing people are upset.  And when you add those together, I interpret that as saying, Hey I got you money suckers, and I don't care if you never buy anything from this company again.  Is that really the interpritation you want me to draw?
