Cmon now. It's not like he's going to trash the game he's been marketing for 7 years. Anyway, the game is GREAT. Except for the end.

This interview demonstrates just how disconnected Hudson is from the IP and it's fanbase.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with having a vague ending that gets people thinking... if you develop your series that way...

However, Mass Effect has never been anything but transparent. There is no moment in the series where I thought, Hmmm is that really happening? Is the narrator deceiving me? So why start at the ending?

It's like if Harry Potter had House of Leaves' ending.

It would've been better if he hadn't said a thing.

Hold the Line.

Even Forbes is getting in on it.  Bioware, you might want to respond tomorrow, it couldn't make it nay worse right?

He delivers the typical "politician" answer. He's a PR machine, nothing more. He knows deep down it doesn't make sense and is akin to a bad acid trip, but that doesn't stop him from spouting off the company line.

Sorry but I just can't get over the ending. Is he even reading any of the thousands of posts? There is no polarization, there is a groundswell of anger.

I've told friends who haven't played ME 1 & 2 but are interested in 3 to hold off on getting it. I mean, I can't in good conscience advise them to buy ME 3 thanks to this horrendous ending.

Plus the Bioware response so far to their fans has been "You guys are a bunch of entitled cry babies and we are geniuses for making this oh so deep and open to interpretations ending".

This thread inspired me to hold line, so I made this picture. As long as it makes at least one other person laugh I did my good deed for the day. Linky - shdws824.deviantart.com/#/d4sspih
