MW2 is good games. Disagree all you want, you'll just be pretty wrong.

MW2 is a decent game, yes, but IW have killed PC gaming. They made it into the sort of crap gaming you come to expect from a console (). Here's hoping Treyarch's next CoD game is more PC friendly as I'm not buying MW2.

If you want to discuss MW2 or PC gaming then do it in a separate thread, I think MW2 is bad value and haven't bought it either but lets let those who have bought it enjoy their game.

I typically don't enjoy FPS games. To me, they're just point and click, with hardly any story and much-less-than compelling gameplay. But the Modern Warfare games break that trend, and come close to the Valve-made FPS's in quality, with a compelling (if a little far-fetched) story, and excellent action sequences that break up the "point and click" quality.

No one is denying the game is good.  I rented it on the 360 to play through the Story and found it rather interesting and engaging, if a bit annoying by being killed at least two times and badly wounded a third.

The problem lies beyond that and starts when you buy the actual game and it gets worse when you buy it on PC.  Robert Kotick is a fat grease-ball that is currently rolling and loling in the amount of money MW2 just racked in.  If you're wondering why he's a grease-ball, you either haven't been keeping up with gaming news or you need to head over to google and google his name.

He is talking about Pirates. Piracy was a big reason that made IW and activision remove dedicated servers. Also I thought the OP was asking for some people to join him on multiplayer, not how Activision has killed PC gaming or how console gaming is dumb.

PC Gamers could have told Activision that they did not appreciate the path they were forcing Modern Warfar 2 to go in by not buying the game. Instead, they bought it, and they bought it hard. What do you think that tells Activision and Infinity Ward, except that gamers are okay with this shift?
