I like Chobot on IGN. I'm not one of her adorning fans, and I wasn't excited about her being in ME3. It's too bad she couldn't just act like her normal energetic self. It's like she was told to talk like a typical reporter in that god awful way they always do.

Jessica Chobot sounded like she didn't give the slightest crap whatsoever about doing VA on a AAA. multi-million dollar game.

I once auditioned for a VA offer on Discovery Channel documentary, and I poured freaking weeks into rehearsing, changing, practicing, etc. just for a few lines.

My only problem with this area is that I was hoping for multiple characters to be able to take that room of the ship, let them have different effects, like Diana does. But I guess not. Ah well.

The purpose of including anyone from IGN was to assure good publicity from IGN. There is no other logical explanation. It was an outrageous conflict of interest and the only reason it's not controversial is because no one expects professionalism from the gamer press. They make sportswriters look cold, detached and objective.

Bioware has an inability to make an attractive female. When I say this I mean faces obviously. Even when they base them off reall females they tend to fail. I'm not sure why that is, but when the chick with the mask has more followers than the rest of the females....

I loved the concept of it - but really felt it wasn't fleshed out enough.

Would have been great to see her hassling the crew for interviews etc...in fact...was there any point that she spoke to any of the actual squad mates?

I think that was an opportunity lost in some regards.

Also her acting was a bit meh - seriously? When she said "here on the battlespace." it just felt like she was on one of those weird gameshows you get from overseas late at night.

The voice acting was one thing. Granted, bad. But I wish Bioware had at least attempted to give her something interesting to say. We learn nothing about her character or her backstory.

And Bioware seems to be constantly appologizing for her presence because every time I try to talk to her I have the option to kick her off my ship.
