I don't really mind her. Shepard wants to win the war on every front, including the media. They chose Chobot as the reporter he didn't punch because she was a recognizable face in the gaming community. Questionable choice, yeah, but I thought she played the part of a reporter well. I'm glad they gave players the choice to kick her off in the beginning, almost knowing that many people would indeed.

I just let her into the Normandy because I was Paragon FemShep at the time.

If the game had given me the option of booting her and replacing her with zaeed or Kelly, I would have forgiven it any ending! ;-)

They killed off Emily Wong via a pre-release Twitter "episode"....apparently to make room for a bimbo with no fashion sense and serious case of "I'd rather be doing anything but reading these lines right now..."

Note: I am not saying Jessica Chobot is a bimbo, I'm saying Diana Allers is a bimbo. Just want to keep that straight. I've really had very little exposure to Jessica Chobot outside of ME3...so I'm judging the character in ME3, not the individual herself.

I don't get the hate. Then again, I've never seen Chobot before, so...eh. I took her along, 'cause what the hell, why not. The war asset boosts from the interviews didn't hurt.

Seriously though, you only have maybe three mandatory-ish cutscenes with her. I don't get the hate for what amounts to a frickin' cameo. :/

Whatever. In her videos, from IGN, she doesnt come across as some air head, and she is defintely pleasant on the eyes. You say "Reaper", and I say bonafide Keeper....and not the type in the Citadel, although if she cleans besides, chalk up a huge bonus.

As long as she nets me a few War Asset points, I could give two shi*ts about Snooki being on the Normandy.

On the other hand, if the character didn't offer anything other than eye candy for dorks, her ass would be left on the Citadel.

Ya, if I ever do another playthrough that poorly acted s****y character is not coming on my ship. They should have gotten someone like Summer Glau, Jewel Statie, or Amanda Tapping. Then again, they should have done alot that they didn't do.

I like Chobot IRL.... but holy christ was she awful in this game.  She sounded like she was reading a book, not actually having conversations.

Also what the hell happened to her face. Garrus looks more human than she does.

The same thing that happened to default femShep's face.
Sad too, Jessica Chobot is actually hot in real life, what BioWare did to her face in-game was a crime.

i let her on but i didn't talk to her... i just couldn't be bothered i was sitting there worrying about ashley for like 4 hours so and then the rest i was just sitting there waiting for ashley to ask me back out hahah

And then was it just me or did she try to hook up with Shep at one point? needless to say my shep was like gtfo of my room, tali's shotgun is going up your ***.

But, really, I didn't mind. I didn't mind when she came on the ship or anything else. Any flaw in ME3 seemed totally insignificant compared to the majority of its badassery... until the ending.

Also there's no renegade interrupt to shut their mouth like with Kalissa Al-jilani.... She's just a very forgettable character, not even a good and familiar faca (they should call TIM the next time they want familiar faces on the normandy) and for sure not a significant role.

I hated too much that she was taking the room that once belonged to a respectable guy as Zaeed. I wish I can just flush her out of my ship.

And still no frackin' idea of who is that Jessica Chobot.
