I got it on my ME3 Datapad iPhone app as well, after I finished the game. It's dated for March 12th, which is after I finished the game, but before I started my new play through.

I didn't get it in the game at all, but only on the app.

"Hey, Commander. Thought I might come down to see you today -- if they let me. Here's hoping."

Sounds like you are in a coma or something much worse.

There was one other individual up above.  Dranume reported getting something similar.

No one else has reported this, though, and I don't know how widespread the app is so it's hard to say how many people should be reporting on this right now.

Are you talking about before the start of the game?  I don't think Shepard's even aware that Liara's in the Sol System until he meets up with her on Mars.  If the VS provides a similar message, then it's also definitely not a pre-game message since we know that VS didn't attempt to visit.


On another note, out of curiousity, for those who are getting this message, which ending did you pick?

Is it only coming from your LI?

And are people getting it from LIs who aren't VS or Liara?

I have not received a message from my LI (Tali) about it, nor have I received a message like it.

However, I have gotten weird messages from Tali from time to time:

"Ow. Head hurts. Why do people do this for fun? And what happened to my spellchecker?"

Thought it was just a silly romance message until I realized the message I got after the romance was this:

"I expect we'll be having more sleepless nights before this is over. But whatever happens, i'm with you."

ITS REAL, I've just got a message from Tali right after completing the campaign *fuc.king ending*. tough my APP is on iPad 2. Damn its real, I havent realized, but there are lots of messages from the entire game, where all characters message you.... Its so fun!

Garrus messages talking about a 'revanche' in a less windy place! hahah
EDI stating that she still has 1.653.000 questions about human things, but shes is pacing herself! LMAO
Messages from Thane, some side quest npcs, Aria....

lol, you're right, that's totally what it is. I guess it was a program hiccup? I got it AFTER the romance message.

I've decided to replay ME3 and do everything BUT the ending. If BioWare makes it right I'll have a good game to finish with. And if not at least my Galaxy will not be ruined if I tune in.

I got a message from Kaidan (who is dead in my first playthrough, but alive on my second playthrough) saying:

"Hey commander, Thought I might come down to see you today--if they let me. Here's hoping"

The interesting part about this is: Kaidan has been in a coma during my 2nd playthrough. He isn't awake yet. It's possible the game glitched with Kaidan and Ashley..

oh, and theres a cool feature too...

the Galaxy Map.. you can throm fleets to do some missions in various places in the galaxy, the missions take like 2, 3 hours to complete... but when they complete, your galactic readiness goes up (it adds up in your origin account) so you can feel that in-game.
Very nice.... its another way to up GR besided Multiplayer

More importantly, why isn't it available for those of us who don't have pads/readers/smart phones?

I'm guessing that Apple locked in an exclusivity deal of some sort.

I got a message from Kaidan about getting to see me yesterday and that's when I started my playthrough where I didn't Virmire him. The only message I got from Liara (my LI for my main Shep who I've done a playthrough with already) was, "thank you for talking. It helps." Maybe this thing is buggy?

 Sorry, I was offline for a bit. Updated with link in second post, but try this and let me know if it works. Take note of the date I received this. I just beat the game lress than three hours ago, and almost right after I got this message.

I am going to do a second playthough, to see what might be different, and try the whole fish thing with Liara. But the app is really cool, you can play a Galaxy at War mini game and up your readiness, look at the codex, and there is alliance news for bioware tweets.
