Indeed it is! Updated. Utterly amazing.Nterl0k wrote...

When I first heard of this, I was skeptical. Didn't think they'd crack $1,000. I'm glad to have been proven wrong. 34 times over thus far.

Gotta love the ignorance and low reading comprehension of people out there - lots of armchair judges defending Bioware's right to do what they want with their IP (and they do indeed have that right) while simultaneously saying the "entitled" have no right to demand a change when they don't like the things they do.
So I guess you guys can forget being discontent with the ending - you have no right to protest or have an opinion. Lawlz.

Any negative press this receives is completely inconsequential as long as those actually making a difference in the lives of many kids simply don't give in to the negativity and keep up with the positive energy.greengoron89 wrote...
You should know that some people (including that one egomaniac from Destructoid) are attacking this movement even harder for giving to charity.

But I just wanted to put the goings-on out there - take it for what it's worth.

True enough. I'm sure there have been more than a few "Renegade" or just spite-based donations. Also, $13 away from $35,000!greengoron89 wrote...
Actually, there's a silver lining in any negative press: it could raise awareness of Child's Play and bring in more donations.

I can't speak highly enough of this wonderful idea... so I let my money do so.
I did some math - looked at how much I've spent on ME and other Bioware games over the last 10 years, and donated that amount to the charity (and the cause) because I won't be sending that money Bioware's way any longer.
1k more
PS
First thing I've done since finishing the game 5 days ago that made me feel any better.
Hats off to the folks that came up with the notion and my deepest respect to all the gracious fans who are participating.
Truly well done!
