Amazing is the only word I have right now for this. As long as the children in need get the benefits from our donation I really don't care what So called game journalists tried to pin on us. Will donate again once it hits 40k.

When you raise that much money in a matter of days, I don't think BioWare can neglect a statement anymore.

At the very least, I congratulate the Mass Effect 3 community for forcing some good out of this.

Perhaps BioWare could turn this into a PR victory by matching the donation and promising to make an "endings DLC" that offers alternate endings for fans to "play out their story in even more ways". Just spin it positively (and do a good job, but I have faith that they could get it right this time, given how amazing the rest of the game is), and I doubt anyone here would complain.

Being a college student with no real income, I can't donate much, but I'll make a small donation soon.

Just donated 5 dollars. A paltry amount, I know, but I don't really have an income aside from a food and general living allowance for college, so to speak.

While I'd prefer to donate to a less..."cliche" charity (nearly every gaming fundraiser chooses this one), I'm really glad that, no matter the outcome of this protest, raising 40,000 dollars for charity is a great deed in itself.
