Hm. Anyone think it would be in bad taste to challenge BioWare to match our donations, regardless of whether or not they change/expand the ending?

For the moment, I'd argue against it. It could make us look entitled, as if we're only in it for the attention. Better to wait a while.

This needs to be forwarded to all the game journalist that called us whiners and immature babies and **** like that. Show them, that we talk with not only our mouths, but our HEARTS.

While I do certainly agree I don't think we should do it in an obnoxcious "I told you so" manner.  I don't say that to sound preachy, but because you people are all better than that.  I know so because these donations prove it.

It wouldn't be to be obnoxious. It would be to show them. "Hey, we aren't these whiny babies that you like to call us, unlike you guys in gaming journalism, WE are actually doing something constructive while looking to get things fixed"

True enough.  I hope that I didn't give the impression that I was making any assumptions about you or anyone.  If so I'm sorry.

No not at all brother, I didn't take it as any sign of animosity or anything.

Whew thank goodness.  I was afraid my lousy communication skills had lead me to accidentally say something offensive.

Nah, I understand where you're coming from and how it could appear to be obnoxious sounding.  But, doing this to be obnoxious would destroy what this cause is truly about. It's just to show them, that instead of bashing the devs and doing nothing, we're helping out a children's charity. Something that they should also do instead of bashing us.

I am really proud of being apart of this community, Here we are being beaten and called names by the Corporate Elite journalist and we hold the line, and then to turn around and raise this much money for kids that need help. This is awesome, Even if we dont get what we are asking for, in this case, in the end.. it does matter.

If Bioware do make a proper ending DLC, and charge for it, I wouldn't mind if the entire cost went to the charity drive.

While I can honestly say I'm not directly involved, I have donated a little over $150 so far. Something about children and charity makes my heart melt.

Same, broke college student here. I chipped in 20 bucks. If I get my grant soon enough I'll set aside 100$ to donate.
