Guys the only way we're going to get mainstream attention is by taking action. I've laid out everything you need in the following thread. I provide you with all the e-mails, all the open forums, and even a pre-written letter if you hate writing or just aren't good at it. All you have to do is paste those addresses into your e-mails and forward the letter to them all. We have to hold the line! Get the message out and be proud!

Flip Bioware the bird while donating?
Did an article specifically about how much you guys have raised. Kudos, good job and all that. I tossed in $10.

Is this approved by Childs Play?

The money goes directly to them. No middle-man. ChipIn merely tracks the donations.DTKT wrote...

Im wondering the same thing, this could be very easy to exploit.
Any clarification?

If you're looking for reassurance, you're better off doing your own research rather than asking random people on a video game forum for it.Reign762 wrote...

Chipin is actually the method that ChildPlay wants people to use for internet based fundraisers.
This is verbatim from ChildPlay's Fundraising Guide PDF:
"If you’re running purely as an Internet based fundraiser, it is absolutely imperative that you link directly to the Child’s Play PayPal account though ChipIn. ChipIn allows you to collect metrics on how much your fundraiser collected without having to “touch” the money. By "touching" the money, you are technically accepting money privately and then deciding to contribute the funds to Child's Play."

If anyone has any concerns about the legitimacy of this donation drive, Jamie Dillion (project manager at Child's Play) has graciously offered to confirm - contact email is jdillion@childsplaycharity.org (also available from the Child's Play website).

I'm so pleased with our community, I'm almost to the point of giggling. Doing so much good and showing Bioware what we 'entitled whiners' can do.
