After reading all these threads about funny/sad/touching moments ingame,i was starting to wonder if there ever was/is a game that has the same impact on you as this one?I've been a pretty long time gamer, but i've never encountered a game that goes as deep as this one...I'm at the final battle now,but i don't want to end it...because i've read how the "endcredits"look like, and i don't wanna see thatImage IPB....

This is the first time a game has a emotional impact on me...So i want to know if there are any other games out there as this one?

I know the witcher also some parts where the decisions you make only are visible some time later on in the game, but it isn't as deep as DA:OImage IPB

I agree, this game was really good..I didn't want it to end, hopefully they will come out with more missions and maybe DA:O 2!!!

Or maybe they can let us replay the game with the same characters, I don't wanna restart cuz my guy looks too cool!!!!! http://s272.photobuc...03-24-12-31.jpg

People need to stop attaching their values to other people and dictate how other people should lead their lives, like a dotting mother.

@Acemath: I had been eagerly awaiting this game and it isn't disappointing. Dragon Age might not be the most original piece of fiction (human noble = Song of Ice and Fire) but is by far the best executed.

If you aren't a graphics snob, I would very, very highly recommend the following:

Baldur's Gate 2 + Expansion

Planescape: Torment

The second is a sleeper hit, but you will not be disappointed by it.

Planescape: Torment is one of the best crpg games you'll find ... if you can find it available anywhere - ebay, probably.

Otherwise, install the old NWN game and look through the thousands of player made mods ... some were amazing. (I haven't seen the same quality from NWN2 mods, sadly)

Just because people like to experience some romance in their games that doesn't mean they don't have a life or real romance. By the same token, people should not like to kill anybody in their games but go out there and kill some real people for once.
