Oh yes. Even the "Yo Dawg" thing made it in there. And it says exactly what we've been saying this whole time. Also appreciated that it started out by pointing out how most sites just have us plain wrong.

Any "X nouns why thing is position" are nothing but advert-bait, those sort of titles are made to suck the maximum number of people in so that they view the ads.

Hey yes. I don't care if all they care about is advertising dollars.

I loved this part:
"Legion immediately changes the synthetic/organic debate when you gain him as a character. Rather than furthering a Matrix-like view of a world in which machines eventually kill their creators, Legion proves that all forms of life can and do have value, and that it is absolutely possible for synthetic and organic life to co-exist peacefully. Throw in EDI from Mass Effect 3 and the debate changes radically again — now synthetic and organic characters aren’t just not killing each other, they’re actively hooking up of their own free will.
That doesn’t sound like a world in which the cylons are destined to nuke the humans. Mass Effect 3 even gives you a chance to redeem the quarians and the geth in their struggle and reunite creator and created, parent and child. These events, in the very same game, are fundamentally opposed to the philosophy of the ending and the themes it represents."

Shameless bumping with no discussion is considered spam hereabouts. Please cut it out.

See, this guy understands the points. We're not a bunch of screaming, logicless kids who feel we're entitled to the right to change a story. We -were- a bunch of trusting, faithful fans who were completely LIED to and had the entire belief system in this game we followed for 5 years shredded before us and had the charred remains crammed down our throat, then had a sandy pile of 'download future DLC' kicked in our eyes.

I enjoy the fact that the author of this article not only says what side of the protest he is on, but also gives reasons and supports those reasons. Probably one of the best articles I've read on this issue thus far. It's nice to know we're getting more people who seem to finally understand our position.

Someone who immediately points out that they're with the majority, AND gives reasons as to why he has these opinions rather than saying "Yeah, the ending are great, everyone who doesn't think so is a whining, entitled kid"? As time goes on, we're constantly being shown that the only ones being whiny and childish are the ones who say *we're* those things.

Gamefront seems to be consistantly actually following the controversy. Their initial article didn't go the same route as the typical "Entitled Whiners" rout, and simply stated a brief outline of what was going on.

This. is. absolute. gold:
"But the majority of the ending is an exercise in increasing incomprehensibility, beginning with the abrupt appearance of The Illusive Man. Without any warning, he just kind of… shows up in the control room with Shep and Anderson. It is never explained how this is even possible; there isn’t even a cursory “Shepard, as you can see, I planned to save Yumanity by purchasing a penthouse here on the citadel. PEACE.”
:D:D:D
