Even today, the official Mass Effect Site bears this message along the top of the page:
“EXPERIENCE THE BEGINNING, MIDDLE, AND END OF AN EMOTIONAL STORY UNLIKE ANY OTHER, WHERE THE DECISIONS YOU MAKE COMPLETELY SHAPE YOUR EXPERIENCE AND OUTCOME."
As good as Mass Effect 3 is — and it really is an exceptional game in many important ways — the product BioWare ultimately delivered literally broke that promise, and that, more than anything else, is why fans are so angry.

Well you should check the official DA2 site and see if it describes the game well.Almostfaceman wrote...
Exactly... here's the link and an excerpt on the final point (out of five really good points):

Actually, quite a few gaming publications are calling us "whining" and "entitled" fans, telling us that it isn't a democracy and it isn't our place to say the game needs changing.
I've got huge respect for Gamefront now. Put aside the supporting article - they didn't lower themselves to berate the very people that read their stuff.
Too bad we cant get sites to read this article...or maybe, I dont know, PLAY THE GAME, and re-write their scathing remarks.
You mean have people do their jobs?!
MY GOD, MAN! Are you insane?!

Two very different issues. Let's not get this, which looks like it may actually accomplish something bogged down in the DA2 mess, which, regardless of how you feel about it, is over.

So, you're trying to change the subject.
By the way, I can't speak for anyone else, but I have no problem with the ending of Dragon Age 2. It's a cliffhanger ending which is entirely appropriate for the second act of a three act story. If I do end up deciding to buy more Bioware/EA products, I'll be looking forward to seeing how they resolve this hunt that's going on for a hero to solve this larger problem they're alluding to.
