I found this the other day. It mentions some dlc that is suppose to come out. Not sure how legit it is though, so take it with a grain of salt.

Especially if you're a straight female player who doesn't like the idea of romancing aliens. Which leaves you with two options: Kaidan and Jacob.
Not that I'm complaining, I absolutely adore Kaidan <3 But for the people who don't, like yourself, it's really too bad that the options are so limited.

I never said I didn't like Kaidan, it's quite the opposite when he's not accusing and questioning Shepard about being with Cerberus. I'm just a sucker for a man with tattoos.. a bit of ink is never a bad thing for me. That and when he asks Shepard  'Are you flirting with me, Lola?'... well, my mind kind of falls into the gutter and is unable to get back out. I wanna do a lot more than flirt with you, Mr Vega, if only Bioware would let me.

Oh, sorry to jump to conclusions. I thought I remembered you saying in your original post you didn't like any of the options for a straight female when I was typing that. Oops.

On the subject of flirting with Vega, I didn't like how most of it was scripted auto-dialogue flirting. You know, for those of us who already have our romances sorted out? It seemed odd to me that they did that.

It's cool, sometimes my thoughts run faster than my fingers can type so what I want to say might not be articulated quite right. I alao have a bad habit of just skimming over what I type before posting sometimes >.>

My main grief is that straight femsheps only get the two potential romancable options, and that's only depending on whether or not you killed them off in the first two games. While I have nothing against having Alenko and Garrus as LI's (I've happily gone down that road with both) Vega just appeals to me more than either of them and it frustrates me that I'm denied to chase the man I want. I can see how his scripted flirting could rub some players the wrong way, especially with how you mentioned about being in a romance already. I was surprised there wasn't an option to tell him 'thanks, but knock it off' like there has been in previous Bioware games.

While I think the majority of the story in itself was epically fantastic (not including the sorry excuse for an ending with so many plot-holes you could fly a Reaper through them), it really can be the smaller stuff that will let you down. This for me is one of them. Not so much where it'll stop me from doing a few replays (I intend to come up with my own ending in my head and turn the game off after Anderson shuffles off this mortal coil... maybe even turn it into a fan fic if I can find the motivation) but none the less will diminish my enjoyment of it to a certain degree.

I know all of this controversy and the ending being horrible is already enough stress on the Bioware team.

You had mentioned something like this at one of your interviews and there is so much you can do with this. Besides Shepard could probably use a vacation on a beach somewhere with his partner ;)

Pleeeeeeeeeease Bioware I would pay anything for this dlc, I'm bloody serious! Liara and My shepard deserve this!

After years of suffering through me1/me2 and now m3 sledge hammer to the face, we have definatly earned some relaxing vacation dlc. I dont care how silly it sounds.

Shepard needs a vacation:wub: before the end. I dont care if you have to get Ali Hillis and Jennifer Hale back in for a 10 hour voice recording session.

DO IT!

From the profits you made you can do this.:wizard:

While I'm for romance DLC, I'm a bit divided. Who goes on a romantic Holiday or take a few day off when there is a war going on and people/aliens corpses are pilling up under your feet.
Like "Hey hun. Let us go away for a few days so we can snuggle and have sex. Let's forget about our galaxy is about to be harvest."
It doesn't feels right for me.

well shepard probably defeats the majority of them at earth, the fleets can probably divide up and take them out after that. and after earth i don't think he is in any condition to fight

I think if they did this as a DLC it'd be as a prequel to ME3. There's a good bit of downtime as we've heard between the second and third game. If it is actually during the war then I would  think it'd work if the idea is that "We're gonna be the Vanguard in this war" we're gonna be the closest to the fire and the most likely to take casualties. I want to have a last chance to be with you before we jump into the fire.

* I meant vanguard as the military unit, not the class. A vanguard is the forward element of an advancing unit for those who've never studied military...things. xD

I don't really get how they could possibly implement this; aside from possibly a mission where you get extra dialogue if you bring your LI along.

The whole point of the Crucible was to wipe all the Reapers out, not just the ones on Earth. Also don't forget it took the normandy and the entire Quarian fleet to kill just one Reaper with an orbital bombardment, I doubt it would be as simple as dividing everyone up and mopping up stragglers.

Extra LI DLC would probably work better in the form of extra options in conversation with your romancable squadmates (even make some of them actually ramancable like they should be- I'm looking at you, Vega), maybe an extra small scene or two during the trips to the Citadel etc... something to make them more subtantial but not completely OOC for the overall vibe of the game. I mean the entire galaxy is going to hell in a hand basket and it's not the best time to have a romantic getaway, especially when you're the only person who can unite all the stubborn scared asses to fight as one huge intergalactic force in a final stand against complete annihilation.

Overall I felt a little let down by the lack of actual conversations I got to have with my crew as opposed to the first to games, romancable or not. What have they been doing for the past 6 or so months that Shepard was locked up and on trial? Or in the case of Kadian/Ashley there's an almost 3 year gap there, you'd think there would be a lot more issues to work out past the initial Cerberus questions/interrogation on Mars. And surely, as much as they trust and love Shepard, they would have an opinion of the Commander blowing up a Mass Relay that killed hundreds of thousands of Batarians and pretty much destroyed a star system, despite it being for the 'greater good'.

I feel I've gone off track here a little, but hopefully you get my point and I'm not coming across as a trolling **** which isn't my intention. If you want a nice fuzzy holiday scene maybe it would have been nice as an after the credits epilogue set a few months after the battle for a 'super good Paragon' ending or something of the like; instead of that loophole riddled thing in three different coloured explosions destroying the Relays reguardless of the choices we made along the way.

I would buy Romance DLC because my favorite Love Intrest's got shafted in ME3 "Miranda & Jack" another thing that baffled me was I play as Male Shepard most of the time and the one character I had hoped would be a option for male shepard after playing a while was Samantha Trayner but no she was made the Female SS Romance.

same they are probably going to sucker me in with a Romance DLC... was about the only for them to get me to buy me, I would have gone for the Omega was kinda hoping to maybe do a mission with her, but the way the game ended, no real point.... would have if you could surivive the ending... would have been fun.

Bioware could make a lot more money reading these forums.
But alas they are too busy backing up their reasons for the endings.

This post pretty much somes up the entire point of this thread. Maybe the DLC could be during the trips to the Citadel, maybe they take a mission to clear out some kind of tropical planet of cerberus and they happen to take a few hours off the reaper invasion to [fill in gap here]. It could be at the end after destroying the reapers (James could come to his senses, you could meet up with Miri, find a secluded spot with Jack, not sure about Jacob [fill in blank here] Bioware would be on their own for that, and morn Thane and maybe a star wars like ghost thane scene would come up.

I also think Bioware needs to add some more lines to the romance script because sometimes after killing a Reaper for example I go down to visit my LI, hoping to just talk a little more or some dialogue. And all i would get is "Hello Shepard"

I hope they do create a Romance DLC and Expand on all of the Romances except Thane's & Jacob's I suppose also they could add a few extra options like these.

And in my honest opinion these options should have been available anyway in Mass Effect 3
Male Shepard
EDI

Female Shepard
James Vega
Joker

A romance DLC would be wonderful and a wonderful chance to give us Talis face in 3D. Her romance covers too few moments in comparison to Liara or Ashley. But if you don't bring a new/ altered end first, it will just make the actual ending even more painful.

Hello all!

While the speculation of DLC for all aspects of ME3 abounds, we have started a united thread for ALL LIs from ME2.  Most were invisible for ME3, and poorly written to boot.  To add insult to injury, if you romanced an ME2 LI, you see Liara, Kaidan or Ash at the end - awesome. Image IPB

So here it is!!  Show your support and perhaps combined we can all get what we want!

I think that Bioware really should consider doing something like a Romance DLC because in all fairness Bioware really sidewinded alot of their fans I mean both Thane & Jacob Romance was destroyed by design so in my opinion if they intended to do that from the start Vega & Joker should have been options for Female Shepard at default.

I am just saying take 2 Love Intrests away then add 2 more to replace them thats all I am syaing.
