I missed on purpose. I take the choices in that scene to mean that Shepard knows he/she would hit it if he/she tried, and since I was playing a paragon that was enough. Besides, Garrus needed cheering up.

Yes, you're terrible if you don't deceive your friends and falsely pander to them like they're fools.

I shot it for this reason. Garrus is Shepard's best friend- I don't worry about boosting egos of my best friends when it's through lying. For instance, if Garrus was going on a date and chose to wear a Tux with purple sequins on it, Shepard's not going to say "Yeah, you look great!" Just so he'll feel confident.

Missed on purpose. My Shepard never uses snipers, so I have no reason to suddenly be amazing with them now.

I shot the target in my first playthrough but will be trying to miss on second. Oh, Garrus deserves this yeah...

Missed. Garrus needs to be able to grow and leave Shepard's shadow. This would give him the confidence boost he needs.

Depends on my shepards class. On soldiers and infiltrators i always hit the bottle.

I agree with you on a happy Garrus. I do not think, though, that you should let a guy win purely based on the fact that he might get pissed off because a girl beat him. I mean... Come on?
