Yeah I just got Leliana at 100 now too and no romance option. Mind you I haven't done her ex-lovers plot quest yet....there may still be hope

there seems to be two ways to start romance with leliana.... (edit: as a guy)

one, is after the personal quest about marjolaine
two, IN CAMP, ask her about her time in the chantry (the first time its available in dialogue) and say the "girl as pretty as you" and "they can't have been more lovely than you" options (i know they're not exact quotes, but this has to be done in camp, if you explore those dialogues outside of camp, you have to wait til completing the marjolaine quest)

Did you do your wooing in camp or while wandering around?  I got Morrigan up to 80% approval and "warm" but that was because I did ALL the conversation and gifting outside of camp.  I reloaded and did it in camp and she bedded me the first night with 51% approval.

The only question I got about the Leliana romance is the after options. I've noticed that for characters like Alistair and Morrigan there's a dialogue option for a kiss afterwards, but it seems like Leliana is different or my game is glitched.

I did kiss Leliana during one of dialogue's with her (BTW playing my female noble warrior now) and I was pretty sure I had things pointed the right way, but no dice so far. My only hope is the Marjolaine quest. Hopefully that will trigger the love sequence.

That's not because of being in camp or out, that's entirely to do with the dialogue options you choose. You can get Morrigan to make out with you in Lothering if you chat her up there, and then she'll invite you to bed when you get to camp. The thing with Morrigan is you only have a couple flirty dialogue choices early on, and if you don't take them, you get friend-zoned.

BTW, whoever mentioned Leliana not having a "kiss" option, that's not a glitch on your game, that's just the way it is. Kinda disappointing, imo - someone needs to figure out how to mod the dialogue. XD

What's amusing is I'm having the most difficult time trying to romance Morrigan because I find Lil so much more attractive ... she is just the cutest thing in the game. I do agree, though, that more dialog and another scene before the big fight would have been nice.



Something else I wish the game had is a "replay scene" option which would allow you to go back and rewatch a scene later - I had to look up the major flirtations and the song on YTube in order to see them again.

Morri's such and easy picking before your guile: you can go to the camp right after Flemeth's Hut, chit chat to her liking and be done with it.

I didn't seem to have problems, maybe I ended up doing it in the right order and only in camp, I can't quite remember. Also you can kiss her repeatedly, as far as I remember in camp you can continously say "Let's go to bed", to which she replies something along the lines of "I thought you'd never ask", kiss for about... 10 seconds or so, then in camp again. I remember doing that repeatedly, .

I finished the romance pretty early thanks to luck finding gifts, and ever since then I was all "That's it"? Did her sidequest and all that too.

Her approval was at 65 after the first love-making scene, no gifts involved. Methinks better save them for the situations she disapproves. I didn't use the kiss option either (gives +4). Anyways, romance her or not, it's good because of the bonuses she gets, every little bit helps.

I dunno, I have her at 100 but she Adores me, not Love.....I must of messed up somewhere. I don't think I can reset her, by dumping her and then trying again. Ahhh maybe my next character will have more luck.

I'm pretty sure you have to do her sidequest to get her from Adore to Love. I know Zevran and Alistair's (?) were the same way...stuck at Adore, even at 100, and then when you did their sidequest it got bumped to Love.



I never did Leliana's romance, but from what it seems her and Zev's got put on the back burner to Morrigan and Alistair's (which is understandable)...and I really wished they did more with those romances. Maybe in a future mod/sequel/DLC? ^^

In recent Bioware games I really disliked that the romances always had the highpoint on the eve of the final battle. DAO finally did away with that. But it still feels weird that Leliana doesn't even say anything to you in the castle before you go to Redcliffe.

not only is the relationship with her throughout the whole game way more rewarding - as has already been stated towards the beginning of this thread (which i actually did read ^^) - but she is so much more interesting in a personality and background kind of way - and ... she's so much hotter than leliana...

I just couldnt bring my self to get with Liliana (to dumb and she's red headed..also morrigan is more interesting and better looking and has a sexy voice), same way I could never kill the Mabari ( its a dog )...eventho its a game I just cant do it...

and i never got her quests or any stories, guess i deserved it.

If you are at 100 and have not done her personal quest yet, you need to break up with her. Then she will start talking about her past. Get her personal quest done then talk to her in camp. You will get an option to say "I hope you feel the same about me someday" or some such. This will trigger the romance.

Thats what I had to do last night with my female rogue.

The song is nice also, nice cut scene.

You don't have to be romancing her to get her to sing...talk to her in camp after you're done with the Brecilian Forest questline (I sided with the Dalish and cured the werewolves...I don't know if you need to do this for her to sing?), and she'll sing a really nice song for you

A lot of people complain about Leliana's romance not being full but I found it being one of the fullest ones. While you get no gift, she is the one that obviously loves you the most (with possible exception of Alistair) to the point of clingyness.



There are 2 conversations with Wynne. The first she thinks its innappropriate. The second she realises you are in love.



There are 2 gifts, the nug pet and the white flowers. She talks about her mother and the flowers, and you give them to her after this conversation and she will kiss you. You get one option in camp where you can kiss.



Then you need to do the bit with Marjoline, at which time she will sleep with you.



There isn't much after this beside the ending where she will travel with you, or mourn your death. But I found the romance lasted pretty much the entire playthrough, not like Morrigan who is in bed by the time I leave Lothering.

I like one of the dialogue options in the epilogue. She compares the quest to a play and you can say "But does she [the heroine] get her girl?". Leliana laughs and says "Yes. She most definitely does."

Lelaine romance is easy, short, and not fully implemented. You can start and stop it anytime you choose as well. By the time you finish your first treaty, shes in your bed if you remotely play the good guy. If you don't, you can still convince her retardedness that what your doing is for the best anyways!



She slept with me right away, no major side quest need apply, no major gifts given. I just gave her couple symbols, listened to her stories, did the right thing and still was kissing Morrigan infront of her.
