Did not read the whole thread but simply not everyone in the series can be gay, lesbian, bi or whatever. It's not Glee

For me Tali does not seem to be a person who would bat for the other team. On the other hand if there would be enough people asking for it, then maybe BW would add an option for FemShep to hook up with Ms VasNormandy.

I'm really sorry to sound like an obsessive pervert (mainly because I am one and that does not lend much credibility to my words), but there's no indication of that in all three games.

As I've repeatedly stated, ME2 does not state she's hetero, all it does is state that she's not into Quarians. (and, by way of LotSB, that she's into humans)
She flirts with FemShep the same as with DudeShep (and FemShep can reciprocate!) until the dialogue where DudeShep gets to get it going on with her, and ONLY because the relevant dialogue option is removed for FemShep despite being physically in the VO files.

The way she acts in ME3, it's like she settles for Garrus because Liara isn't her type and he's the closest other option that isn't Shepard.

Then again, Shepard IS half-synthetic...

What is the point of arguing about this? It is clear that BW made their decision for Tali to be a hetero in the games. And yes, the indication is right in that fact I put up there...

BioWare put the silly Tali/Garrus fling in there to end any further romance speculation for her. If not for the Male Shep/Tali romance people, she wouldn't be in the game in the first place. BioWare had no intention of any further romance options with Tali, even with a male Shep who hasn't previously romanced her. Anything other than Male Shep/Tali makes no sense.

ME3 was the end of Shepard's journey, trying to say that "oh, she still might say she likes me in DLC or another game..." after 3 whole games seems a little desperate. There are other characters that you can chase after that swing that way...

Modded of course... Its a big deal because changing someone sexuality in DLC is offensive. Hypothetical here, If Tali was strictly a femshep romance for 2 whole games, wouldn't you be upset if they wanted to change that via DLC? As I said, ME3 is the end for Shepard, so if a change ever happened (slim chance) it would be through DLC. If she started out bi and it was canon (without mods...), I really wouldn't care. IDC that liara, kelly, samara, morinth, kaidan are bi. But Tali is a maleshep LI in the Mass Effect 2 & 3, changing that would be wrong.

Pre-release of ME2, when Tali and Garrus were just announced as LIs, it was repeatedly stated that Tali, Thane and Garrus will be available for both genders of Shepards. That promise went into the same Promise Hell as "no ABC ending", "Rachni totally matter" and "no Reaper OFF switch" for ME3, I guess.
