Do you understand what that means? She is the most POWERFUL person in the universe. You can't have a relationship with her. Her enemies will use you against her. The ONLY way she could be with you is to vacate her position and that is a BAD IDEA. Next person could become corrupted or be a traitor or worse, a Cerberus agent. Could you imagine the havoc Cerberus would cause if they get that position?

I can't see any possibly way that Liara can be with you without endangering your life or the lives of others.

Last I checked, at least until the very end of the 3rd game, Shepard is blatantly the most powerful person in the universe. Liara, like everyone else, is his sidekick. This is how the universe/game is intentionally set up.

I've seen concepts of her without her armor.... she has no bottom jaw O_O) not a human looking bottom jaw atleast. Looked professional, side, perspective, front, helmet, no helmet, no armor, armor.... suppose the equivalent to what I saw was a mouth structure similar to the elites in Halo

What part of that suggests he likes Yes Women?  I myself like women who trusts me and sticks with me through thick and thin, fairly sure that's what a successful relationship is

She does get over it. In fact her end-game romance scenes can be played in such a way that she's the one re-assuring Shepard that regardless of the Lazarus project he's still him and she can vouch for it with certainity because of what he's done in the entire game and prior to it. (Notable if you take her on the Cerberus base with you.)

It's clear she had a bone to pick, but it was a justified one. She knows what cerebus can do, she knows what the reapers can do, she knows what reaper-cerbs are and her greatest fear is Shep is shaped in some form by that technology. She's being overtly cautious. By the time she's in the hospital she's pratically acknowledging that's she wrong. It's only cos Udina's a bit of a knob she wavers on self-doubt again and it gets resolved pretty nicely.

So yeah, Ash's romance was extremely well done.

As for Liara, I'm doing a re-playthrough with Liara as my LI, because the tension between Ash-Shep and Liara-Shep is pretty simmering. Romancing Ash, it's almost heartbreaking because Liara's really hung up on him. I've no idea if Ash acts the same way if you go for Liara, I'd assume so, but I don't really care to find out.

Nobody calls me Skipper without me being able to say : cut it out I'm your commanding officer don't give me a nickname. (You can be sure James Vega will only call me "Loco" or "Lola" once, after that, I put him back in his place. If I could to the same for "Sparks" when he's talking about Tali, I'd do too. Don't know if he gives other nicknames.)

I don't care if I'm playing a male of a female Shepard, I don't talk to Ashley because to me she doesn't respect my command by calling me Skipper. Plus I never wanted her on my ship to start with. So she dies on Virmire and I'm perfectly happy with that.

Oh and the Liara relationship is perfect in my eyes.

Was with Ashley and based of my real life experiences changed in game and went with Mirandia in two and three.

I personally preferred Miranda, but that's my personal opinion/choice.

Liara was mainly my FemShep LI.

Ashley was annoying at times, but hate/dislike is a bit strong. Didn't really care for either Ash or Kaiden.

After the way she was....respecced - I actually wish I had gone with a Liara Romance, or even just romanced Jack.

She definitely didn't feel like Ashley in a few parts...... BA DOM TISH

Me neither, always kinda disliked her. Ashley on the other hand was much more interesting and strides better than Kaiden.. now there's somewhere I am glad I left stuck in a tower on Virmire.

I'd pick Ashley over Liare every day. First, I understand that she can be moaning a lot about Cerberus, but seriously, that is something you can expect if you suddenly go dead for 2 years and start working with the enemy. I also really liked how she looked in MA3. In MA1 and 2 there is just something strange about her hair.... but in mass effect 3 she looked great! I also liked the story about her. This is a no spoiler section so I can't tell it... But it is a great story.

I never understood why people liked liara so much... I'm not really a guy who says: yes, she is from another alien race, let's make love to her! And in my opinion she is also a little strange... I picked ashley, got ashley and I was happy with the results.

the only thing i can regret on romances is i couldn't be with tali since the first mass effect, i didn't got the romance trophy but the game still thinking that i had a romance with ashley T_T
