Yup, thanks for the ME3 endings. My SWTOR guild just got jacked.

It won't be enough for Bioware to notice, but hey... more power to Willpower.

It's Dragon Age 2, Mass Effect 3 and the fact that SWTOR isn't really that great or innovative and is thus another BioWare product that is undoubtedly good, but failed to deliver on its huge expectations.

Were you enjoying it before you played ME3? If so, isn't that a silly thing to do? Will you honestly not be coming back in a month when your anger subsides?
It's a trust issue, not an enjoyment one. I loved SWTOR, but even if I was still subscribed, I would drop the sub at least for a few months to make sure that BioWare gets the point that not caring about it's fan base is bad for it's health. You can't make a company listen if you spam messages at them, but you can sure get they're attention when they see their profits drop. And if not BioWare, then certainly some bean counters at EA are going to notice.

A lot of us bought these games, SWTOR included based on implicit trust in BioWare.
Yes even after DA2. DA2 had flaws but was still decent. I still trusted them.
After this? After being hurt this badly? That trust is gone, completely, and I can't handle playing any of their games.
This. I haven't canceled my SWTOR subscription yet, but I'm so close to doing so. I'm giving it a few weeks to see what Bioware does before I turn out the lights.

Also, it might just be because you need to stop playing SWTOR for a week or so to fully realize how badly it sucks; any other major game release would have had the same effect

I was enjoying SWTOR, kinda burnt out a bit, but still enjoying it. Thought I would go back after playing the crap out of ME3 when they had more content, seeing as how Bioware always delivers on quality, I trusted them.
But no. Bioware will not get another cent of my money.

I don't know, you don't seem to have any backing in any thread you post in... I'd say you are alone.

BioWare is BioWare, people who are mad about the Mass Effect 3 endings are mad at BioWare. If you're mad at BioWare but still giving them money for SWTOR, you're not really mad at them, you're just pretending you are.
Maybe if more and more people quit SWTOR, BioWare will take the hint a bit faster.
And, if they play both games, most of them were already angry at the current state of TOR. DA2 and TOR are signs of either significant decline at Bioware, or EA exerting too much influence within Bioware. Or, perhaps, both.
The ME3 endings may have been the straw that broke the camel's back for many in regards to TOR. I haven't played TOR for a month, my sub ends in a week, and I have no plans on resubbing. Between the constant issues with TOR, the terrible support, the silence from Bioware, and now seeing similar issues with ME3 over both glitches and the endings, I can't justify continuing to pay a company that seems to just not care anymore.

They are still two different divisions of Bioware...
SWTOR took the lead writer from Mass Effect, I'm of the opinion that if Drew didn't leave the Mass Effect team, both 2 and 3 would have been better. I can't say that for certain though but at least we would have got better endings.
I also believe the decline in the quality of the BioWare games comes from the fact that they have spread their talent too thin, maybe if SWTOR dies, they can go back to doing what they do best and making the best single player RPGs.

When a company lies to you do you really feel like giving them more money? So I can understand why they are leaving STOR. If I was on STOR I would have quit. A company isn't entitled to lie and take your money. If you allow them to do so, then its on you.QuarianHIV wrote...

They might fold entirely from this if it gets to out of hand... I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Perhaps, but I'm not willing to utterly condemn a whole company... I have said that my faith is shaken, and I may not buy DLC or preorder and buy collector's edition... But I cannot entirely boycott a company over this, I have to give them the chance to make ammends.

PROTIP:
When calling thousands of relatively well-articulated people childish, it helps to conduct yourself with some semblance of proper grammar.
