Well, my question - and I'm too tired to be sarcastic, so please don't misinterpret - is how many times do you have to have your faith shaken before you decide it's not worth supporting a company or product?
For me, my faith in BW was shaken with DA2. It was enough to rattle the foundation but I passed it off as an an isolated occurrance. Then came TOR. After a month and a half into TOR, I could no longer pass it off as an isolated occurance because many of the same customer support problems and passing-the-buck posts that plagued DA2 were showing up with TOR. At that point, the foundation started to give way.
ME3 could have been a redeeming product. But there are known texture glitches that happen far too frequently, multiplayer bugs that can negatively affect equipment and points, and, of course, the ending mess. All, so far, met with silence - the same way customer support treated TOR customers for months (and some would argue are still treating customers).
Whether Bioware is spread too thin and is paying the price or EA has gained too much control - it's anyone's guess. Whatever the case, something seems fundamentally wrong throughout the company.

it is not simply a diffrence of oppinions.
it is like a child who having a temper tantrum in a store cause his parnets wont buy him a new toy, it is that behavior iam apologizing for.
Swtor is from what i herd a Great game made by a completly difrent branch of bioware, Why should the devlopers and people workign on that game, suffer because Team ME didnt live up to your standard?

DA2 I forgave as a momentary mistake.
SWTOR made me realize that Bioware may not be the same as I once knew it.
But I had to get ME3, I trusted them.... And most of the game was awesome, too much for my faith to have finally been broken. But I'm on the edge, depending on how Bioware handles this.. I'll either be very cautious with future titles, or completely abstain from purchasing. But it's not broken yet, so I'll hold on justa bit farther.

It is strange - all I want is to replay ME1, ME2 and ME3 but just can't see any point knowing that Red/Blue/Green is what I get and ALL my choices in the series becomes completely irrelevant.

It boils down to customer loyalty working both ways.
Basically, yeah. I'm not sure that I would do the same if I played that game, but it's not completely unreasonable. SWTOR derives part of its sales from the fact that it's made by Bioware. When you buy one item from a company and like it, you're more likely to buy more. Apple got crazy rich because it was able to build off of all the good things people had to say about the iPod. Companies want you to buy more of their stuff simply because it has their name on it, hence the label. But it goes the other way, too. When the same label is shared by several products, and you had a major problem with one of them, you aren't likely to buy the other things just because a different division of the same company happened to make it.
For example, I have had bad experiences with Nike shoes. Knowing that, I do not have any desire to buy shirts with the Nike label because of those shoes.

I don't know if they will quit because of it but they won't be buying anythingelse from Bioware and with the recent ''lack'' of developements in SWTOR .... I can see they are losing more subs than they should.
They bring the next patch in this desperate times though.... it may patch some wounds but it won't heal the scar.

They are still two different divisions of Bioware...
SWTOR took the lead writer from Mass Effect, I'm of the opinion that if Drew didn't leave the Mass Effect team, both 2 and 3 would have been better. I can't say that for certain though but at least we would have got better endings.
I also believe the decline in the quality of the BioWare games comes from the fact that they have spread their talent too thin, maybe if SWTOR dies, they can go back to doing what they do best and making the best single player RPGs.
agree, same thing happened to Blizzard, they are so focus on WOW and they slow down their development in single-player games. I'm not sure if their quality dropped.

See what I wrote in my previous post to understand why people might do this.
I'll summarize for you. They put the Bioware name on all games made by the various divisions of Bioware because they want to generate sales through the goodwill that the name brings. This goes the opposite way, too. If you have a bad experience with one company's product, it's not unreasonable to think you might have a problem with other products or that you might want to take your business elsewhere.
If I buy a bad pair of shoes from a clothing manufacturer, do I turn around and buy a shirt from them? No.
If I go to a store and I happen to like their merchandise but their customer service stinks, I'm not going keep going there. Even if the products and customer service are separate, they still fall under the same umbrella.
