It's not a surprise why theyre having a free pass Weekend then, is it? They're trying to outmanoeuvre the boycotters.
(ironically, I'll probably try it as I didn't want to just get it on faith in BioWare... monthly fees are a pretty big commitment)

MerchantGOL: "Ghandi was being entitled and childish."

Mate, firstly, you don't speak for me. Secondly, perhaps you should take your own advice and look around - no one is being childish. Or at least those posts are in the tiniest minority. People are disappointed and motivated because they care about this series and this story. We'd like to get the ending(s) we believe the series deserves and the endings we were promised. That's not being entitled, that's expecting Bioware to live up to its word. There's a very big and important difference.

Origin is also doing a sale that if you buy ME3 you get Batman:AC for $10, the fact that they have to do this is telling of how damn scared they are for sales right now.

Cancelled my subscription a few days ago. Got called some names (namely "immature" and "stupid") by some guild mates and upset "friends". It's amazing that the phrases "Vote with your wallet" and "Stick it to them where it hurts the most: in their wallets" are so commonly used, but the moment that you actually start doing that, you're an immature, stupid child.

Good thing Bioware is making our games, not our food, huh?

I also play sw:tor, but in all honesty am considering cancelling. Even my roomate who plays sw:tor with me but only watched me play the ME trilogy has said canceling is just fine if the company treats its customers this way. we both like sw:tor. She even thought about playing the whole trilogy herself until she saw the ending. on a side note please guys just ignore the troll in the corner, all he is really doing is trying to anger you and make us look bad for doing what product consumers have a right to do.

6th straight evening where we didn't have enough people to do anything, and could only sit in trade hubs watching people argue about ME3 on chat.

Byebye bounty hunter. Unsuscribing.

Makes sense to me. If I had SWTOR I'd feel bad for supporting the company that just knifed my metaphorical Shepard's heart.

Though satisfied with the endings as-is (due to the emotional experience I had with the one I chose as well as Anderson's death scene and speech), I am also sympathetic to the current Retake cause. The glaring plotholes and unintentional ambiguity that's resulted from those aforementioned holes has made me drop my plan to re-sub to SWTOR in April until either an ending DLC is offered or explanations are provided by the creative team.

Look u people that keep telling people there stupid for leaving just shut up.  It's there right to leave, just like its your right to stay and keep enjoying your games.

Bioware should take out a page from eve.  This same situation happened to them, they kept blowing off the fan base.  They almost lost there company for this same reason.

They finally sized up and started to address the issue when they no longer could afford those million dollar houses.

My guild and two ally guilds cancelled out as well. So its not just you man. It wasn't JUST ME3, but the wait for patch 1.2 and all that, people are just frustrated with BioWare atm.

I assume 1.2 will bring most of them back, but the guilds are more or less dead ships now.

I'm keeping my sub active there cause my wife would get mad if I cancelled our subs. But I don't play.

I'm seeing allot of this lately.. sadly I'm not sure of the outcome at this point.

I cancelled mine last weekend - I was bored by the game by pretty much the end of the first month and annoyed with all the basic things the game should have had at release (guild banks, parsers, customizable UI just to start) but I was going to hang on to my subscription to be supportive - after Mass and especially because of their lack of response I couldn't justify the expense any longer.

I like to support companies that make products I like - I'll be buying the xbox version of Witcher next month even though I already have the PC - just to give support to a company that is trying to do things right. At the moment Bioware has shown that they not only don't deserve my support but their lack of response indicates that they don't care.

tch, even my lab partner in my university chem class figure out it was indoctrination ending shortly after....and in the end, he said it suck beyond he can believe that it is genuine compare to the rest of the game.

He played ME for the first time too. Thank god the the main game has good enough plot that he would like to go back and see what happen in ME1 & 2.... He might hate the ending even more after that tho LOL

Because you can't log in with your real account. I tried to skirt by simply setting up a new account with a different email but it must have matched up the names or something because I was told I was ineligible. At that point I decided Hutta, Dromund Kaas, and Balmorra weren't worth the bother.

I know its stupid to quit one game because you're angry with another, simply because they're run by the same company, but THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING. Again and again.

To my guild at least. I don't run it (thankfully), but its sad seeing friends and fellow guildmembers rage quitting SWTOR because of their anger towards ME3's endings. 10 people quitting probably won't even cause a tickle in TOR's suscriber population, but I'm affected by it.

Time to see if we can get replacements in the meantime or hold out till April, when this endings fiasco dies down. On record, I HATE the ME3 endings myself, but I still find SWTOR enjoyable, for now.

Sorry for your troubles.

Had to drop the subscription because I couldn't stand watching the Star Wars of my young adult years get mutilated.
