Yup, thanks for the ME3 endings. My SWTOR guild just got jacked.

(ironically, I'll probably try it as I didn't want to just get it on faith in BioWare... monthly fees are a pretty big commitment)

Mate, firstly, you don't speak for me. Secondly, perhaps you should take your own advice and look around - no one is being childish. Or at least those posts are in the tiniest minority. People are disappointed and motivated because they care about this series and this story. We'd like to get the ending(s) we believe the series deserves and the endings we were promised. That's not being entitled, that's expecting Bioware to live up to its word. There's a very big and important difference.

It's not a surprise why theyre having a free pass Weekend then, is it? They're trying to outmanoeuvre the boycotters.

Origin is also doing a sale that if you buy ME3 you get Batman:AC for $10, the fact that they have to do this is telling of how damn scared they are for sales right now.

Cancelled my subscription a few days ago. Got called some names (namely "immature" and "stupid") by some guild mates and upset "friends". It's amazing that the phrases "Vote with your wallet" and "Stick it to them where it hurts the most: in their wallets" are so commonly used, but the moment that you actually start doing that, you're an immature, stupid child.

Bioware should take out a page from eve. This same situation happened to them, they kept blowing off the fan base. They almost lost there company for this same reason.
They finally sized up and started to address the issue when they no longer could afford those million dollar houses.

My guild and two ally guilds cancelled out as well. So its not just you man. It wasn't JUST ME3, but the wait for patch 1.2 and all that, people are just frustrated with BioWare atm.
I assume 1.2 will bring most of them back, but the guilds are more or less dead ships now.
I'm keeping my sub active there cause my wife would get mad if I cancelled our subs. But I don't play.
I'm seeing allot of this lately.. sadly I'm not sure of the outcome at this point.

I like to support companies that make products I like - I'll be buying the xbox version of Witcher next month even though I already have the PC - just to give support to a company that is trying to do things right. At the moment Bioware has shown that they not only don't deserve my support but their lack of response indicates that they don't care.

Now you have new friends... You don't even have to pay for it.

He played ME for the first time too. Thank god the the main game has good enough plot that he would like to go back and see what happen in ME1 & 2.... He might hate the ending even more after that tho LOL

Because you can't log in with your real account. I tried to skirt by simply setting up a new account with a different email but it must have matched up the names or something because I was told I was ineligible. At that point I decided Hutta, Dromund Kaas, and Balmorra weren't worth the bother.

I know its stupid to quit one game because you're angry with another, simply because they're run by the same company, but THIS IS ACTUALLY HAPPENING. Again and again.
To my guild at least. I don't run it (thankfully), but its sad seeing friends and fellow guildmembers rage quitting SWTOR because of their anger towards ME3's endings. 10 people quitting probably won't even cause a tickle in TOR's suscriber population, but I'm affected by it.
Time to see if we can get replacements in the meantime or hold out till April, when this endings fiasco dies down. On record, I HATE the ME3 endings myself, but I still find SWTOR enjoyable, for now.
Sorry for your troubles.
Had to drop the subscription because I couldn't stand watching the Star Wars of my young adult years get mutilated.
