I'm so proud of those who canceled their SWTOR accounts. That's determined and brilliant.

Hold. The. Line.

I also canceled my TOR account. You can provide a reason why, so i told them they'd lost my trust and I wouldn't provide them a revenue stream after betraying my trust. I said if they live up to the promises of the ME3 Dev team and provide an actual ending, then they'll get my revenue again. If not they won't.

I'm a customer, not a fan. If I get a lousy product or lousy service then you lose my business. It's not a hard concept.

I didn't quit SWTOR because of this and I probably wouldn't have if I was still subscribed when I saw the endings. I thought SWTOR in a whole was too linear to be a progressive and challenging MMO, the story was interesting to say the least, but I it just wasn't my style of MMO. I for one will always be a diehard SWG fan, for the few people who knew about that games greatness.

I still play TOR. Why ? Because it has a great story. Yes, Bioware made it but it wasn't made by the same team as ME3. I don't buy the "guilt by association" argument. By that logic, We should all stop playing Xboxes/PS3s/PC games because it was the medium that the game was made for.

I won't be buying Mass Effect DLC because it is made by the SAME team. That same team that made a crap ending doesn't deserve my money. But the team in Austin that did a great job with TOR shouldn't suffer because of bad decisions made in Edmonton that had nothing to do with them.

Hold the line,

Yeah! I hope EA cuts the entire SWTOR team! I hope they all lose their jobs! Screw their careers and livelihood, a game produced by an entirely separate group of people disappointed me!

Seriously guys, please. This won't send a message to EA. EA is a publisher, not a developer. If a game is unsuccessful, they cut their losses (by which I mean jobs). Not buying games EA publishes doesn't help you, it just hurts the developers, many of which are hardworking, passionate people. Big Huge Games made Kingdoms of Amalur, they have no stake in ME3, they have no involvement. Not buying that game because of ME3 sends no message to EA other than, "This developer is unprofitable." It's the same case for SWTOR. TOTALLY different group of people. You're hurting THEM, not Bioware as a whole.

There are much more mature, less damaging ways to send a message than to punish anyone affiliated with EA or Bioware.

Canceled my account. Bioware's quality is in question... They don't get another penny from me until they address their issues.

You do realize that Mass Effect 3 was made in Canada... and TOR was made in the US... Canceling your TOR acount merely ensures that the GOOD part of Bioware is punished as well.

This isn't helping.

Believe me none of you are alone in canceling accounts. Many are doing it including me.

As far as I'm concerned its just a righteous form of consumer activism. EA/Bioware MUST suffer financially for their poor choices or they will never learn and grow as companies, I know that I personally take no pleasure in much of what is going on. (Long-time fan and consumer of Bioware products here).

But they haven't left us with much choice have they? The more people that cancel the better, it may help this whole situation come to fruition sooner rather than later. When you do make sure to give your reason for leaving as well.

She slept with a Star Child and had a baby they named SPACE MAGIC. Here's what he looks like: :wizard:

Not one more penny from me until they fix it.

What else can we do? Right now there's only the promise to avoid any future DLC or future games. That's not a tangible threat to Bioware/EA. Stripping them of cash flow NOW is. Yes, this sadly may hurt the blameless, but it's unfortunately the only serious way to get the message across to the EA stockholders. And make no mistake they're the ones who will ultimately make the decision on our cause, albeit indirectly.

I actually didnt want to quit but havent been able to get a guild raid going since ME3 release either. When we chased people on forums they gave the same reasons.

I'm on a dead server with 20-30 republic people online most nights so no chance of us replacing members. I have also decided to cancel my sub.

I cancelled my SWTOR subscription too. Really the only say we have in what a company does is by voting with our consumer dollars.

Just cancelled mine. 3 of my friends did the same. We'll go back only if they fix this.
