It reads so much like he was a main part of the plot (because he kinda is in this script), but he gets pulled out... as a business move. That's it. Too bad, in the DLC he comes off as a throwaway character whereas this version has him casted in a much better role, just by the importance of his existence. There's so much more wrong with this game than the ending.
