I don't come the forums that often, but I know enough about what's going about how people are angry over the ending, so on and so forth.

But I think the ending was amazing (and perfect, at least in terms to me). It answered all my questions and I felt relieved and happy to see how everything came together. I'm happy Bioware left a lot open at the end because I can make up my own stories about what happens here on out (or until Bioware releases DLC if it takes place after the events of the final conflict).

Either way, I cried TWICE during the story and had TWO jaw dropping moments. Bioware, you outdid yourself again and I'm happy that this was something I truly enjoyed and loved.

I've been here since Mass Effect 1 first came out and I'm honored to know I was here at the end.

Now I know how all those people who read the Harry Potter books from start to finish feel and why they cried when they finished it.

Mass Effect is the story I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you Bioware.

Hang on to that feeling and don't let anyone else tell you otherwise.

You cried twice and jaw-dropped twice during the story itself.

What was your reaction when you ended it?

All questions were answered? Then riddle me this. What happened to all of the fleets now stranded on Earth?

Someone needs to read some classic lit if this is one of the most compelling narratives ever. The only really compelling and unique narrative was the Collector Base...

I was extremely full filled with the ending. I thought they did it perfectly. I didn't feel confused or left out. Sure there is a huge gap of "Well what happens AFTER the war?" but that's what I like, I like being able to just come to my own conclusion about what happens (unless Bioware makes DLC about that).

All in all I'm happy. It doesn't matter how everyone or anyone feels about the ending here on the forums, all that matters is how I was effected and how I felt and again for that I thank Bioware for giving me the ending I wanted and the tears of sadness and the smile of joy.

Now I'll just listen to the soundtrack and put "Leaving Earth" on loop.

Isn't it obvious everything in the universe died off and nothing exists beyond the ending.

So you were fine with the Reapers motivation? Yo dawg, to save you from being destroyed by synthetics we're going to use synthetics to destroy you every 50,000 years.

Or the plot inconsistencies or plotholes? Shepard's blind acceptance of everything the Starchild says and lack of investigate option? The "Pick your favorite color" ending sequence where literally none of your decisions throughout the game mattered?

Glad you think terrible writing and tons of plotholes make you really happy.

Well, I respect that you may or may not have enjoyed the ending, but I did. I suppose it would have been a smarter option to simply email Bioware a thank you, but I just wanted to thank them on the forums. I'm sure there are others out there who also enjoyed the endings.

Maybe you saw something I didn't or maybe I saw something you didn't. Regardless, I know what I liked and what I didn't. I know what emotions I felt and I know I couldn't be happier with the Mass Effect series.

....Though I feel no need to buy any future Mass Effect games, I'm quite fine with Shepard's story.

Two questions..

How did your squadmates get on the Normandy? (Specifically ones that were supposedly killed or with you when you ran toward the beam)

What fate befell the rest of your squad and the galactic races after you activated the Crucible?

I see you don't have an answer...  That's because Bioware didn't include an ending that tied up those loose ends... And, sorry to say, the ending simply does not make sense.

I'm not here to crack you open and tell you that you're wrong. On the other hand, it's nice to see people enjoying the ending without taking potshots at people who don't.

I'd like to ask you how it made sense to you or answered your questions, in specifics. What was your favorite part of it?

it's a moot point anyway. Turians will starve to death because their dextro DNA and I highly doubt the Quarian liveships will produce enough food on their liveships to sustain both all of the Quarians AND all of the Turians.
