Well, I respect that you may or may not have enjoyed the ending, but I did. I suppose it would have been a smarter option to simply email Bioware a thank you, but I just wanted to thank them on the forums. I'm sure there are others out there who also enjoyed the endings.
Maybe you saw something I didn't or maybe I saw something you didn't. Regardless, I know what I liked and what I didn't. I know what emotions I felt and I know I couldn't be happier with the Mass Effect series.
....Though I feel no need to buy any future Mass Effect games, I'm quite fine with Shepard's story.
Yup.
I only tried one ending though, it basically seems that it ends the same way, you just choose which fate control, synthesis or destroy.

I hope I don't have to repeat myself when I say "the game left a lot open to come up with my own conclusions" as I previously stated. You can call that bad writing on some parts, sure.
But again, I don't really care how any of you feel, I simply wanted to state my thanks to Bioware. I enjoyed the ending and that's all that matters. You have no impact on how it makes me feel.

How soon before you begin your next play through, OP?
It will be awhile. I want to let everything sink in. I still have gitters.

Ok. I just get the feeling that people that are satisfied with the ending are people that play it once and move along where as those that are upset have multiple Sheps they wanted to take through but have absolutely no reason to anymore. Guess I was wrong.

That's respectable... and some endings are like that.
But, with all due respect... you can't say loose ends were tied up and "it was left open to come up with my own conclusions" at the same time...

What conclusions were those? Help me see the light, bro. It sucks to hate the Bioware and the ME3, right now. 5 years of speculation and anticipation down the drain. I want nothing more than to love this game.

Again, I stated that certain things were left open and not everything was answered, but I had questions that WERE answered. Your comment may be a misunderstanding of my statment and on behalf of me not stating my feelings in a clearer way.

I personally thought the ending was 'good enough to move on from' but it had numerous plot holes/gaps/and unanswered questions. But, as the OP experienced, it's not something a little imagination can't fix...

I'm curious and please don't take this the wrong way but how many times have you played ME1 and ME2 if at all? Have you read any of the novels/comic books? Have you ever visited the Mass Effect Wiki?Jellyfish Opera wrote...

As I mentioned I've been here from the start, I've completed Mass Effect 1 19 times, Mass Effect 2, six. I've read all the books (though I wish I hadn't read Deception) and yes I've visted the Wiki.

Indeed, you like your imagination combined with the ending... which is cool.

I can see why people are upset over the endings, I understand, but at the same time, I can't, due to the fact I only really care about how it impacted me. Nobodies opinion really matters because it isn't mine and it doesn't deciate how I felt about the experience.
I'd be more concerned if I didn't have to use my imagination to feel in a few gaps here and there personally. It's a big universe.
