I don't come the forums that often, but I know enough about what's going about how people are angry over the ending, so on and so forth.

But I think the ending was amazing (and perfect, at least in terms to me). It answered all my questions and I felt relieved and happy to see how everything came together. I'm happy Bioware left a lot open at the end because I can make up my own stories about what happens here on out (or until Bioware releases DLC if it takes place after the events of the final conflict).

Either way, I cried TWICE during the story and had TWO jaw dropping moments. Bioware, you outdid yourself again and I'm happy that this was something I truly enjoyed and loved.

I've been here since Mass Effect 1 first came out and I'm honored to know I was here at the end.

Now I know how all those people who read the Harry Potter books from start to finish feel and why they cried when they finished it.

Mass Effect is the story I will remember for the rest of my life. Thank you Bioware.

Too easy for someone from EA/Bioware to make an account and 'pose' as the general public...

Saying that your post contradicts itself, you said it answered all your questions but then you go on to say that it leaves it open making you to make up your own mind on what happens next so to speak.

So it being left open hasnt answered any of the questions, and judging from what everyone has been saying on how bad the ending is given all the hard work you put into trying to save the galaxy i am even more inclined to go with my first statement.

Looks like someones been indoctrinated *rolls eyes*

lmao because you dont agree with him means he's a plant from Bioware? everyone point and boo that man boooooooooo

Good to hear, I liked the game too, more than I would've thought. I like it more than Mass Effect 2, don't know if I would put it above Mass Effect though, I haven't given it much thought.

Sorry if anyone here is being a jackass.

Thank you, I'm not upset with anyone voicing their opinion (maybe I a little annoyed that I have to keep repeating why I enjoyed the ending), everyone has a right to their opinion and I respect that.

You are not alone in enjoying the ending, many others did so too including myself.

Congrats, you're one of the 3% who did.

You're welcome to keep your ending, the rest of us would like an option for Shepard not to bow to the will of the Reaper God-Child.

Don't assign percentages to either side. It only makes a fool of the person who does so. The fanbase of Bioware, even of each title spans the millions. Do not assume you speak for a majority or minority on here or in general out of those millions just because a few thousand complained while a few million did not.

And I'm glad others enjoyed the ending as well. I'm just glad anyone enjoyed the stories of all three combined.

Back when Mass Effect was first released in 2007 I knew what I was seeing and being apart of was something special, something I would hold close to my heart forever. When I'm 78 years old, I'll still be playing Mass Effect and remembering why this story is such a huge influence on me.

Hey its great to like the game(despite certain issues the actual game si great), but how in the world did the ending answer questions?

It answered one thing for me, but otherwise just raised FAR TOO MANY afterwards along with inferred horrors.

So nice to see this proud and noble community ganging up on someone with a different opinion and harrasing him unitl he changes his mind about the endings and conforms to the boards hive mind.

You stay classy BSN, you stay classy.

I think there's some confusion, I don't even know how this game an argument. I'm not looking for anyone that enjoyed the story like me or confirmation as to why others didn't enjoy the story.

I just wanted to thank Bioware for a story, I felt, was fantastic, breathtaking, and amazing.

You know as well as I know that comment was a futile attempt to paint the picture that the OP opinion is contratry to the majority of the community.

The truth is, there is no way to reliably determine who is in the majority here.  As is in most cases, the upset crowd barks the loudest.  While those that are content are usually too busy moving on, palying another game, or rolling a new Shepard and playing again.

I mean, look at what just happend.  A fan posted about how happy he was with the game ending etc. And people began to "attack" him with comments that would insinuate that his opinion is somehow  "not normal".  It baffles me.

Please, I don't want to have to repeat this, again I never stated WHAT question it answered for me, only that it answered questions that I had.

It depends if your wish to treat the game as a dictionary or thesaurus, a biography or documentary even a wiki page. Or just a game, a form of entertainment. For me the game covered many major elements I wished to clear up in the series (during the game itself prior to the end), substance wished for expansion on from prior two games and during which seeing and being involved in that within ME3 was great and I loved it. The ending purpose for me is not tieing up additional loose ends in this case it was whether it led to any emotional conclusion to the game, it served that purpose and therefore I liked that too.

Harrass me? Haha, no. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and are free to express why they dislike, like, or feel uneven about anything.

But simply coming on a forum and saying why I'm wrong for enjoying something won't make me change my opinion. Nobody as of yet knows what I consider fullfilled or what I enjoyed, I have yet to state that. I have only said that I loved the ending I recived. That's should be enough. If you need clarification to why one man enjoyed something, then there is a big world full of people who also like things they don't the should go talk too.

did you watch the video sequence when the Citadel went ballistic? It did paint a rather vivid picture of what happened to the fleets

Actually the fleets were ignored because your assets don't matter, else I want an explanation why 2% of the forces I recruited are present and where the 98% that remains is located at.

Keep an eye on things closely and you'll see all your forces are replaced by a token force that is not what you built.

You have been very civil and patient with these guys, I applaude that. I wouldn't have, espically if they kept responding to things that I hadn't stated about multiple times like they have you.

I really liked the ending, too. I like stories which leave much to the interpretation of the consumer. I love the fact that it could be a hallucination, because I like dark endings also. The developers let us DECIDE on which intepretation to choose (see what I did there?). Altogether, one of the best endings in video games, very bittersweet.

Be happy about it, OP.

I wish I was as easily to satisfy as well.

I felt the same when I reached Rannoch. Then I started the ending mission and was confirmed. Then the strange, possibly hallucinated part came and I was surprised. Then the ending vid came and I was like "wtf pretty bad." Then I watched the other endings on youtube and figured that apparently, the internet was right about ME3 having the worst ending ever.

I thought the green ending was unique & pretty cool, however it did not feel like any of my other choices during the game made a bit of difference. Questions were opened like: How did my squad-mate get on board the SR2? Why was Joker not helping with the assault on Earth (and apparently many light years away from it's captain and EDI)?

The same video was used in all three endings (with a crude overlay in green, and minor difference in red), this is so disappointing after the quality endgame scenes we have come to expect from BioWare.

Overall: Extremely disappointed in the ending(s) myself.

I don't entirely agree with all the anger people have been throwing back and forth, but again I can understand where it's steming from. It doesn't bother me in the grand scheme of things, I'll still play Mass Effect 1,2 and 3, I'll still love it and keep it close to my heart from now until my death.
