Treat Mass Effect as a game for the moment, one playthrough, you wouldn't try it and see what the story arc would be?

Kinda wished to get a female Turian as a squad member for just that, if anything a morbid curiousity, a female with an attitude like Garrus and have Garrus accidentally walk into a decompression room thinking it was the lavatory... *flush* Garrus is tradgically blown into space

You know what, I came in here with the mindset, "No I wouldn't but I'm all for others wanting it." I like choice. But now that I've thought about it, if I were to get out my Sheploo, who is a complete jerk, I would. Just so I could watch Joker flee at the end and end up stranded with EDI. In that instance I would be laughing during the ending. My Sheploo getting trolled by Joker.

Given everything ME3 has inflicted in me, I have only been able to import my canon Shep, and gagged my way through 2 play troughs. My cannon Shep would have been tempted for sure by finding comfort with EDI, but he'd have resisted. He'd still spend the night alone in his undies thinking of his ONE & ONLY Samara

EDI and Joker belong together, and who am I to stand between true love.

People on here acting like they wouldn't do a playthrough with them romancing EDI lol. I'd definitely romance her. Would be interesting. It's the closest thing to Shepard having a romance with his own ship.

If there was a way to do it without disappointing Joker, then yeah I would totally go for it with my femshep. It's not like I have a ton of options after Thane dies. But Joker is my femshep's bro, and wouldn't get in the way of his robo-love.

Incidentally, anyone know the difference with Joker and EDI if you don't encourage their relationship?

Only if they throw Joker in as romance-able as well, I'd love to romance EDI just once. You might not start out with the same level of compatibility but it would make an adorable light option. Her humour is very dry and I love it, I think she'd be my first female LI that I'd actually want to take a crack at.

I absolutely adore EDI and might romance her just to see what happens, but ultimately she belongs with Joker.
However, I would shell out cash money for a Traynor/EDI romance. They're so perfect it hurts.
