Can Sentinels be played aggressively (on insanity) as they were in ME2?

Hi,

Sentinel was my favorite class in ME2.  With the combat version of the evolved tech armor,  I loved trying to rush enemies and get in close rather then simply picking them off from distance (on insanity).

While I have played a ton of ME3 MP, I have hardly touched the SP.  Today I started a Sentinal (import level 30 character) and found myself playing as a caster during the Mars mission.  I unleshed a lot of Biotic and some Tech combos but I spent my time in cover and only moving when forced to by grenades.  ME3 enemies do a much better job of forcing the player's hand.

My question is if anyone is playing or played their Sentinel on Insanity as a rusher?

Thanks

Haven't played that way myself, but I have heard people claim doing it by using Defense Matrix as their bonus power.

You can play aggressive. Tech Armor+Defense Matrix is about 70% DR and a 100% shield replenish every 4 seconds.

Or you can do a more hybrid caster/tank approach with Reave getting decent cooldowns(sub 3s) with 60% DR. I did a video of this build here I didn't take any health damage till the end and was pushing at an alright pace. I could of gone faster with a shotgun probably.
